Silicates Intro

Silicon and Oxygen comprise much of Earth's crust. This means that many many minerals are within the silicates group. Here I discuss the meaning of the name silicate and show a couple of the most common silicate specimen you will encounter in the natural environment.

I would like to share with you a whole other group as big as silicates but rather with carbon due to the unique conditions with the Chicxulub meteorite. Impact diamonds and even petrified cactus turned to diamond. And I have a special one for you if you not spoken for alrwady
