Anybody else notice in Pym’s Test Kitchen that Disney cheaped out? Where the food is going through the conveyor belts instead of having actual physical replicas of the food they’re using video on TV monitors. Why?

@@justinmiller2655 without a doubt. It’s just that it couldn’t have cost that much more to put fake food being attached to a conveyor belt going around basically in a circle. It just looks a lot better that way. With Disneyland Paris already receiving so much criticism as the worst of all Disney parks you would think when they put new things in they would want to make sure it’s the best it can be.
With the salads, does anybody know if Tom just doesn’t really like salad so any salad is not going to taste good to him? When he was eating both of those I was hoping that if he don’t like them he would explain why. What was wrong with it? What flavors weren’t mixing well together? Was it a texture issue? Was there something in there that just didn’t seem fresh because it wasn’t crisp enough? What were the flavor profiles?
Re: Four Seasons pizza. It looks kind of greasy, but grease is the word. It's got groove, it's got meaning.

30:04 sounds like if they had a mini sampler plate of different mini items or just 1 large item - that would work (I mean 1/2 of a large burger for instance).

As a scientist, I wish the small food wasn't called "subatomic". It would be great if when you ordered a subatomic burger they just gave you an empty plate and told you the burger is there it's just too small to see.
The huge burger is the reason I would go. Never seen anything like it.

The SSR references make me happy as an Agent Carter fan. Overall the food is take it or leave it but I’d go in just to see those rooms!

I personally - if I was designing the stark factory foods - I'd have LEDs for all the food. Then I would have stuff that looks like tools - like a carrot in the shape of a wrench, potatoes shaped like bolts, etc. It's strange to have to bland food. I agree the toppings are what makes them interesting - as that's what would make sense here. Brainiacs tend to eat soylent (brand, not the movie) - diy meal replacement powders and brain foods like high protein (like quinoa), greens, etc. - stuff that would be quick to make, very healthy and brain-feeding and filling - to get you to be able to focus. Even the green juice that tony stark drank in the 2nd movie would be really fitting here. It's not really meant to be edible - it needs to fit in. I bet disney tried to do that at one time and failed and taht's why it's uninspired - but liquid diet smoothies, juices, shakes, etc. - that's what would make the most sense here I would think. Where you drink as you walk around machinery examining it. You aren't really getting taht here - your back is at the main centerpiece. I don't get it. It's a little confusing - it's meant for the non-picky is how I see it. I mean even something with zing - like mandarins in the salad - something crunchy in the pizza toppings - stuff that gives your brain something to think about - that's what it's about. That's why the pizza toppings are the success it's the cranial focus point 12:31 Even soup is acceptable. You know - stuff that brings you back to the college days!

13:21 ngl - that looks inedible. I think they really are putting their focus on the vegan food - as they should and I'm proud of that. Normally it's the opposite - the vegan food's lackluster and the unhealthy food's the star. I like how it's setup the other way. I tihnk RDJ was even going in the vegan direction - so maybe this is fiting for Iron Man - trying to experiment with making healthy food healthy and desirable.
6:00 I agree I could tell there's more for the vegan one than the regular one. Sometimes it's just like that - I'm really glad they have vegan options at all disney parks. It's supposed to be adventurous - but definitely something was missing - something like a tahini dressing in the middle that looks like iron man's core. I agree something was definitely missing in that one. I think if they made the carrots like circuitry it would look cool. Maybe they could've fried some shreds into a circuit shape - which is pretty easy with a stencil - something like vegan cheese or bread (like tempura). Even if it had a blue dye from blue spirulina would be something I'd pay extra for! (Disney's like 'write that down!' - hey disney can have that one and take credit even I don't care - i want to see nice stuff!).
any thoughts on a vegan tour when you go to a new theme park? I mean I feel like, based on this video - it's probably going to be sorely needed and pretty cool! Goodful did disneyland - but all the other theme parks can get one - like the california adventure - easily!
I feel like the food at Stark Factory is not themed at all and kinda boring. But tbh most of the food in dlp isn’t 😢 I just wish they would’ve copied the exact same food the have in DCA.
That might be the worst looking Reuben I have seen lol - it looked very sad like it just witnessed a puppy dying - maybe they forgot to grill it or something - it should be hot and grilled toasty and gooey and melty lol

16:40 I thought disney would fall short being new to the vegan scene. To hear it's the best one really sounds promising and makes me feel confident in going back! I mean I somehow feel that food I make is going to be better, being seasoned - but if it's the best option - I know I can make my family proud!
We are heading to Dland Paris in September and would like to know your recommendations on where to eat at the parks and hotels. Trying to make my reservations in advance and already there is to many options that are fully booked. Thanks in advance!
The buffet in the marvel hotel is the best good by far, in the parks cowboy cook out is good

I’ll never understand why theme parks always serve quick service Italian food- it’s never good, but there’s at least one of those restaurants in every theme park you go to. If anyone genuinely has an answer I’d love to know lol.
Frisee and arugula are both very bitter greens. I would not eat a whole bowl full of frisee. It is usually mixed with other greens. Really bad decision.
Just visited the park and it is very interesting experience. The park seems to be a bit at odds with itself. Avengers Campus is quite, boring really. One thing that is in abundance shops, shops, shops!!!! All selling the exact same stuff… how many damn shops do they need in one small area. The food is quite disappointing though.
Don’t get me started on Disneyland Paris, while it is a beautiful park…. It is also smelly, the sidewalk was sticky or covered in black sludge and there was rubbish/food scraps strewn on the ground, in que lines and the gardens. We witnessed a random French guy(his accent gave him away) urinate one of the tunnels, when there was toilet just a few metres away.
Watching UA-camr Kevin Heimbach and his latest video, Disney Security Isn’t Happy With Me. Towards the very end of the video he found out something very interesting because of what happened to him while he was there just a few days ago and he’s warning everyone who’s going to D23 and will be staying in a hotel on Disney property in Anaheim or is wanting to go into Downtown Disney. If you are given any posters at D23 or you buy any artwork etc. at D23 security will confiscate it and will not allow you to take that into Downtown Disney. If you are staying in a hotel on Disney property Disney security will not allow you to cut through Downtown Disney with any posters or artwork that you were given or purchased at D23. They were told by Disney security if you want to take those to your hotel room you have to walk completely around on the outside to do that. As we all know that’s not exactly safe to do. Maybe Disney will wise up and change this policy but it’s a really good thing to look into and let people know about. He discusses this issue like the last 5 or 10 minutes of that particular video.
And the screen in Pyms instead of physical set pieces… sigh. It cheapens the look and atmosphere, imo
45:42 I bet everyone's going vegan in the parks after watching this. Honestly when I eat my vegan food - everyone's always jealous - now I see why - there's no comparison it seems. I thought it was the vegan one that was going to be a letdown. No Iger always calls the shots and impresses!
I've been going to disneyland paris since I was about 4 years old
And I can honestly say the food on the whole is terrible, the best option really is the mcdonald's in the shopping village or the marvel buffet

The food at Walt’s American restaurant was not too bad. We had the bonus of a window seat and watching the parade down Main Street.
Tom is ironic that the worst meal you had was at colonel Hathi's pizza outpost and you loved the dessert at pym kitchen that there made at the dessert central kitchen for the 2 parks and the disneyland hotel at that same restaurant....lol

I will never understand how Disneyland Paris is in Paris and has the worst to mediocre food. It’s literally in Paris. They should be l e a d i n g the food game across all Disney parks. Another miss..

Rocket is what arugula is called in Europe and that’s prosciutto not ham. Is the park really calling it ham?
