Z71usa I keep watching your videos to stay motivated. I keep having doubts if this is the right choice. I know it is will be awesome when it gets paid off.
I have watched all.of your paying off the mortgage videos. I have just started paying down my mortgage. Can you tell me how much extra you are.paying per month to pay it down in 7 years. I have a 19 year mortgage and would like to pay it off in 5 years. Any tips would be appreciated.
Jackie Johnson I took the amount that I was paying towards principal and multiplied it x5 and added that to my mortgage payment. If you search for a amortization table you can play around with the numbers till you find something that works for you. Best of luck!
Lovin' Livin' RV'in Thabks for responding did you do that every month? I just started. I'm doing biweekly payments, and a extra $80 to start. Next year I want to go full speed ahead with it. Something like 650- 950 a month.
Jackie Johnson yes we paid that amount every month. I wouldn't worry so much about making bi monthly payments especially if your mortgage company charges a fee for it. Just apply the extra principal payment once a month with your regular payment.
Jackie Johnson it takes a lot of sacrifice and determination but everyone can pay off the mortgage early using a compounding principal payment method. It just works in reverse of the compounding interest the bank gets every month. Best of luck to you.
I'm almost at were your first video was! Pretty exciting. Also in 6 months my interest and principle should flip. Big year with the mortgage.

Lovin' Livin' RV'in thanks, they didn't charge me a fee, so I guess that's good.
