    Finally a video that talks about lawn pro. The software is SO amazing. Especially now, that their is an app for it. You are dead in with your numbers and how you explained when when to upgrade. I am looking forward to switching to service autopilot. Look into it many years back , and your right it was a cost thing.

    Good morning. I, too, would love to hear an updated video. Yours is one of the best I’ve seen.

    Hi Mike,
    Great videos and instruction teaching the trade. Thank you.
    I set up LawnPro this year and it has some great functionality (when it works correctly). The customer service is horrendous and issues are having a negative impact on my business. They tell me they will look into issues and then ghost me. I would not recommend them to anyone. You mentioned you know the owner? Is it Patrick? I’d love to talk to him.
    Message me if you all are having issues as well.
    Thanks!

      Unfortunately our company is going to make a decision in about a week or two. We are a 7 figure company. SAP appears to be having customer service problems after John
      sold company. Aspire seems expensive, charge a percentage of you're revenue. LMN looks descent but concerned about it not being user friendly. I respect and appreciate any
      thoughts you have on this topic as this will be a big decision for our company.

    I've been using lawn pro since day 1, and I'm now 3.5yrs old. I do ONLY lawn care maintenance, no landscaping, so I have a much higher volume of customers with a lower revenue per customer than a landscape company. Lawn pro has been great, but I'm maxed out on a single 2-man crew with about $16K gross per month. I'm ready to start a 2nd crew and as your video states, Lawn Pro is unable to support that kind of volume. I'm dealing with 10-12 customers/jobs per day and I think I'm at the limit for what Lawn Pro can do for me. At the same time, I don't have the revenue yet to support something like Auto-Pilot. Can anyone recommend a good software that provides automation and flexibility for multiple crews, expenses, P&L, etc that is aimed more toward what I'm doing than landscape work? Landscape you can run a 5 man crew on a single job all day so potential revenue per customer and per crew is MUCH higher than basic lawn care maintenance.

    Hello, we currently run a landscape business for both commercial and residential properties and have about 450-500 accounts. We are using Gopher for 9 crews and 4 users but the software has been bought out and no longer has a customer service or tech support. Any recommendations on which next software we should purchase?

    • @MikeAndes
      @MikeAndes  4 роки тому

      I would recommend Service Autopilot. You are large enough now where the cost is offset by the value you will gain. Second recommendation would be Jobber (slightly easier user interface and ease of access).

    Greetings, I have a landscape business but at this time I don't offer mowing services. I offer general landscaping such as land leveling, flowerbed work, tree trimming, etc... do you believe that Lawn Pro will work well for me? I am currently using InvoiceSimple and its doesn't have many features other than tracking the quotes and invoices that were created by me. Would lawn pro work for my services? This is currently my first year and I am at about 120K as of July starting in Jan 2018. Thanks for any help, sir.

      Michael Crnkovic stick with SAP. Not worth switching for a short amount of time and having the learning curve. Growing that fast you will need it within 12-16 months for certain

    I run my business without any software. My index cards cannot be hacked! And, the flow of my business is utterly unaffected by a power outage, or a virus. Old School Theory is awesome! If you have to write it all down, hand cramps will motivate better system design (simplification) just like hunger motivates more work.

    • @mikedierker2381
      @mikedierker2381 3 роки тому +1

      Hand cramps are what motivated software:-) Software IS the "better system design" you're referring to! You don't need to reinvent the wheel, it's been around for a long time now. Software is designed to help you spend less time pushing a pencil and more time making money. I definitely don't envy you when tax time rolls around. If you don't adapt with the industry you'll be lucky to survive, let alone prosper. You are working way too hard, and that kind of work does NOT increase your revenue so you can defend it all you want, but it isn't working smart.
      FYI.....get a laptop, smart phone, and a cheap battery to charge them. Use free software, keep backups on the cloud. You'd be amazed at how much time that frees up for you, whether you spend it with your family or growing your business. If your power goes out like mine did for 5 days straight, your business will still be utterly unaffected. It is natural to resist change, but wouldn't you rather spend all that time making money instead of on record keeping? The right software can replace dozens of hands writing things down, and it will provide important information at the click of a button that you currently have no access to. Nothing wrong with working hard, but you're spending your time in the wrong department!
