- The October 2023 edition of the World Report, a semiannual compilation of news from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is now available on Church Newsroom and UA-cam.
You can watch in English, Spanish and Portuguese below. Additional subtitled editions are available in traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Russian.
The October 2023 World Report showcases the Church’s humanitarian efforts to help communities in Maui, Türkiye, Syria and Africa. The show also documents the global reach of the Light the World Giving Machines.
The program also highlights temple news from around the world, including the first temple of the Church of Jesus Christ in Thailand. The report offers a glimpse into the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square’s first world tour concert in Mexico City. The spiritual momentum and growth of the Church Educational System is also spotlighted.
Viewers will also see the ministry of the faith’s First Presidency, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and General Officers. This includes Morehouse College’s inaugural Gandhi-King-Mandela Peace Prize given to President Russell M. Nelson in April 2023. Also highlighted is Relief Society General President Camille N. Johnson’s participation in Notre Dame’s Religious Freedom Law Symposium in London.

I was so surprised to see the world report before conference. Then the spirit just nestled around me just as though we were listening to conference already. I love to know where our humanitarian donations go. I am so humbly grateful to belong to this, the true Church of Jesus Christ.

Hi Linda, I'm taking your comment as coming from someone who isn't LDS; is that correct? I'm LDS myself, and, while I'm grateful that funds I donate--either through the Giving Machines or indirectly with regular church donations--are so readily provided to others, that can only be a secondary focus for the church as an institution. I am therefore really grateful to see that our efforts spur others in their own giving efforts, whether it's individually or through their institutions. The more that espouse Christian principles of loving God and loving their fellow human beings, the better off the world is altogether.
This is exactly what a true church would do! ❤

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, and I’m so grateful that the Saviour in His bountiful grace and love restored His church to the Earth with a living prophet and 12 apostles and the blessings of temples along with countless truths that had been lost, ignored, or mistranslated! He is preparing a His people for His Second Coming - may Christians throughout the world unite through our love of Christ to bless and help the each other and people everywhere

The church does so much good throughout the world! So grateful to be a member and to participate in many service opportunities around the world and in my own community. This is the gospel of Jesus Christ: to love God and to love our neighbors.
I am a 5th generation in the western wyoming area my family emigrated to England from Scotland join the church and came across the plains during that time many prophecies were made along the way one of those prophecies that were handed down to my family was that in the last days there would be tent cities all over Utah perhaps the world 🌎 I believe with that we are seeing the Fulfillment of those Visions seen so many years ago bye our early Pioneer ancestors of witch where living a very similar life at the time and I believe would not have recognized the significance of such a early statement and prophecy in there day

I love having the World Report before Conference. I remember when they only came out once a year after conference. They were maybe 10-15 minutes long. Now they're 45 minutes of goodness, service & love to our fellow man around the world.
And now Area 70's are called in the separate leadership meeting. I think 96 were called since the last conference.
God's work is moving forward. Glad I listened to the Prophet & have been taking my vitamins! 😃 💞 💒

I look forward to returning to the Temple of Salt Lake City. I travelled from London before it closed in 2019 in honour of my son, who sadly passed away months prior to my road trip for almost a month, visiting various Temples and areas from New York to Las Vagas Temple being the last.

I live in Utah. I love my many LDS friends and professional doctors that have helped me. I love what you all do. I just not sure in this life, I m joining. What is a giving machine? Never heard of. God Bless you all.
They are like vending machines where you can purchase many different gifts of charity given to those in need through out the world. Find one this Christmas and check it out!! ❤🎁
They had one at the outdoor plaza at City Creek Center in December. People were taking so long to make their decisions that my family went home and went to the website to donate online. It feels more tangible to do it at the giving machines though!
