It's Hogwarts. That's just a normal Tuesday. This is a school where the nurse regularly has to deal with students who have Vanished their head, or been transfigured into a tentacle monster. One random encounter is a sheep in the hospital wing. Turns out to just be a sheep, because a guy thinks his mate became a sheep animagus in a field, and is convinced this sheep is his buddy George. In Harry Potter's time at Hogwarts, at least 4 professors died, 1 was tortured by centaurs, 1 was impersonated for a year, and at least 7 tried to murder students.

The one thing I missed in this game was having our character have a blood status and have it influence your in-game treatment. Would be wonderful for extra immersion.
Your character has to be a muggle born because they only come to Hogwarts as a 5th year and their reactions to everything show they are new to the wizard world.

The character is whatever you want him or her to be. Give them a lot of knowledge about the wizarding world or let them be clueless. It is in your hands and I kind of like it that way, not being forced into the game but I agree that a bit of backstory, based on their past would be nice. Kind of like the cyberpunk experience, choose your heritage and upbringing and get plot points and actual differences in mannerisms towards you. I also like the nonexistent racism but find it odd that there are no spats between the muggle born and pure bloods.

Stuff like this). Compared to them, we have more to lose so we shouldn’t let ourselves be easily provoked into fighting them if there was ever an altercation

Additionally, this was important because it comes from a place of non-judgment by the game creators. If you want to be evil, be evil.” Also, there was gonna be a reputation system too.

I suspect neither was deeply, truly, blood purist. All that matter to Voldemort ultimately was power, and Umbridge's hate was more directed as non-humans or half breeds. Both despised muggles, but any disdain for muggleborns on their part was likely born of suspicion of their allegiances (more likely to join the order of the Phoenix or support the muggle world over the Wizarding one). Umbridge may have resented muggleborns for being born with magic while her brother was born a squib despite having a magical parent, tearing her family apart, hence her accusing muggleborns of "stealing magic." At the end of the day, though, both were half bloods pretending to be purebloods for social status perks who ultimately didn't seem to care much about other bringing down other halfbloods (ie. Voldemort respected Snape, Umbridge didn't target halfbloods via the MBRC). I suspect if a muggleborn made themself useful to either of the aforementioned they'd have been accepted.

Reparo can't fix things broken beyond repair. A burnt book is beyond all repair. If the pages were simply ripped out then it could be fixed.
