- Hello Folks, I am finally getting this canvas on camera. I started it 2/8/24 and months later I am still working on it! So many other WIPs took center stage but now I am committed to seeing this one done. So here we go....

Good morning Kelly. I’m so happy you did this wip and chat. I understand so much more now. I am 63 and I have a lot of those moments. My ambiance when diamond painting is some easy music going or gospel music and sometimes I will light a candle. I learned so much today watching you. Thank you so much! Have a wonderful day ❤️

Hi Sade... it's the only reason to take up any craft. If we can't enjoy and lose ourselves in something, there is very little reason to do it. Shine bright my friend.
My preferred ambiance while diamond painting is listening/watching you tube videos or music.

Whenever I get to diamond painting my ambiance is with either the 'Rain and Thunderstorm ' station on Pandora or soft musical instrumental station.

My ambiance js nature, My dp table is by a window, second story, over looking our orchard. Deer and bunnies like it, Also there is a large tree by my window and I listen to birds raising there families, :)

When I diamond paint, my ambiance is generally one of two things. I'm either listing to a DP UA-cam channel doing something OR I"m listing to an audiobook. I'm absolutely in love with the Erin O'Reilly Mystery Series by Steven Henry. I'm currently on book 11 of 14. I'll be devastated once I finish the final book.

I'm a UA-cam and audible book consumer while diamond painting. I typically have low lighting. I have a wax melt burner with a light glowing in the background. The last element of my diamond painting ambiance is my adjustable light pad set on the lowest setting that will help me place my diamonds.

I will do the "shorthand" and put what's on my table/easel the moment if only a few spots are left open. I'll also use a neutral AB tor clear crystal o fill in if I don't want to get the actual color back out.
Hey Marla, yea Girl.. sometimes I just don't reach for that actual color and no guilt here... LOL... I allow myself to "forget" the cheating of it all...
Honestly, as a new diamond painter, I'm still figuring out what kinda of ambiance I want. Currently I'm using my work desk, which is chaotic, lol.
Hi KG... yes find that special way/environment for DP is a journey worth taking.. just surround yourself with things that make you smile. You'll get there. Shine bright.
Oh lord, I am probably the laziest person on earth, but my OCD simply won't allow me to put a drill where it doesn't belong. I even have to pick off wrong drills if I realize I've put them on the wrong symbols. The struggle is real.
Hi Girl... hee hee.. nope if it's on my desk and the color is close to another.... down it goes. HA! I get the struggle though.. Glad I missed that OCD affliction.
