Hello Florentin, I have always found the piano very fascinating I only bought Oregon books because they had the cords written in because I could never read the base I could only read the melody line.💕NonnaGrace
Nonna, this S. W. I. it sounds like you can read the basics, but the rest confuses you. If you have access to a music store, look at a grade 2 piano book, that will further introduce you to the bass (F) clef. i don't think that will be too hard or too easy for you. Florentin knows much more than i do, let's see how he answers..........
They all look like fantastic books. The Jazz theory book looks super fun! I've been wanting to learn about this style. I've been working through early-advanced classical music but Jazz seems like a really fun style and I'm looking forward to hearing more about that book especially. We are trying to talk Trie into getting an acoustic bass and learning how to play. Do you have any thoughts on if the acoustic base is a good instrument. I don't really see them used very often. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter! Blessings! -KayKay

Not being a musician, there are some phrases which are foreign to me: timbre being one, and arrangement being another.
Thanx for answering me........

Piano books come in different formats. Whatever works for you, as long as you enjoy it, works for you. Have a great day.
