For the first half year to first year together with my man, we never had "a song", we fought like cats and dogs at times even though we loved each other like crazy. One night I was feeling like my heart was going to stop cause I thought he was going to end our relationship, and he sent me this song. This is our song now, and can I say this is just a brilliant song. I don't think i have ever heard a song that says so few words yet has so much meaning. For example, how she is willing to say she's wrong for the sake of ending the argument even if she still feels she's right. That is not something that is common today in us women unless it's obvious we TRULY love the person. Then the fact the song brings out she is unsure of where the relationship will lead to and it worries her, yet his verse comes in, telling her he knows her worries, but that everything is going to be okay, and that despite never getting it right 100% of the time, he still sees their future together. Just an amazing song, and extreme genius. Beautifully unique voices, i've never heard anyone with a voice like yours. And lastly, the man and I still together and soon to be married.
I am deeply moved to hear a song that embodies how I have felt since I first fell in love at 16 with my boyfriend who was suicidal and has passed on. nobody could understand why I would always stay until this song....
