These rich and/or influential black men need to start being honest about the trauma in their lives instead of just glorifying things like drug abuse, violence, etc.
Many men deal with depression, mental illness and emotional stress. A lot of black men are immediately labelled as thugs when they commit a crime. No consideration is given to the negative experiences they had earlier on in life - such as bullying, abuse and neglect - that messed up their heads and influenced them in a very negative way.
Children need to learn about the problems black men deal with that lead up to actions like drug misuse and gang affiliation. Then the children need to see how the aforementioned actions can mess people up.
It would also be helpful for influential black men to glorify the positive things they have done to help themselves with their issues.
This was very brave on Hassan's part.

Yeah he's he's not being honest. And you hate to say that giving the story that he's telling. But being a person who has and still does work with victims I am a victim advocate. The details these are the things that you hear when a victim is explaining certain things they might not he explained that act so well or he died me and everything else but you don't know how old you were you can't remember oh he had a blue shirt on and I just remembered the way he grab the shirt so you got to understand when you hear certain stories from there from victims different people. If certain things so the interviewer was actually very smart by trying to get the timeline down. Is very few people that I know or have heard of work with or just had to be there within to the family gets there. That will willingly be active in the person's life that harm them as well as even go as far as trying to kill someone after-the-fact on their behalf. No it's just hard to say it you don't believe a victim but when you hear certain things is like yeah you very rehearsed and it's easy to listen to psychologists and other people get them statements and yeah I blocked this out I didn't want to know that's where hers you are not being genuine about this story
