definitely! u MUST! Pride of America was amazing! the 5 islands we got to go on back in 2018 were phenomenal! the overnights in 2 of islands was superb! it was out 1st time to Hawaii and we loved the cruise ship, the itinerary, the food, the chilled relaxed style cruising on the Pride. If the flight wasn't so dam long from MI we wld go again but we will wait till we r older lol
As predicted this decision was inevitable. How can we cruise without being vaccinated? We have to think beyond our own borders and protect the people in the countries and islands we visit. I’m still hoping all the cruise lines make vaccinations mandatory. I’m also hoping the people in the places we visit are able to be completely vaccinated soon. Thanks again Gary! Well I hope they get CDC approval. I'm booked on the Breakaway out of Miami on July 4th. NCL cancelled my June cruise the end of March so I expect a go/no go by the end of April

Wasn't sure the best way to send a question like this: Why do you think Carnival Corp. has remained silent about vaccines? It seems like such a simple (or simpler) answer to many problems, as NCL is trying.
I am also wondering. As a total group company they are doing vaccine only passengers for the UK / Europe domestic summer cruises (P&O Cruises, Princess and Seabourn) so they’ve headed that way. I suspect they waiting / hoping they effectively don’t have to make the decision/ aren’t seen as requiring it but it is laid down by CDC or countries where they cruise to. I think they are clinging onto the idea that in places where cruising started it wasn’t part of the protocols. But that is old thinking. It’s bizarre as it’s got to be a sensible stance to say: when we start we’ll have vaccines and review. By then anyone that wants to travel will get one rather than miss out (and kids will qualify)
@@tipsfortravellers Exactly! You are right on point. Requiring vaccines seems so obvious. If they require vaccines, that makes it possible for countries to allow them in their ports. I wonder if it may be they don't want to offend the fringe in the US that is anti-vaccine. It just seems very strange that they remain quiet while they threaten to leave the US ports. I understand frustration with CDC, but what about European sailings!
It’s the new UA-cam #shorts format that is mostly designed to be shown to people using the mobile app as it then fills the entire phone screen. People are usually only shown these when they are on a phone. Though as they still rolling out the updated main app, we still have to upload them in usual way and so that means some people see them on desktop etc....
Did Pride of America and the Bliss in one year. Not impressed at all and found a lot of dirt and a sock under the bed and the toilet was dirty as we entered the cabin?!?!? Stewards boss arrived and saw but didn’t apologize or seem concerned about this gross situation! No more Norwegian Cruises for us. Food not special either.
Nope. I don't ever EVER want to be trapped in a ship when some new strain breaks out. If people start getting sick, I want to be able to put my family in a car and drive away.
More than likely. The current Healthy Sailing Protocols has it in and in their letter to the CDC all these were included. Though, they do say these will be reviewed as rules develop and guests will only know 30 days before if their cruise will have any lifted
We used Norwegian about 10yrs ago to cruise the Hawaiian islands. Loved the informal atmosphere. Everything was exceptional

The day before yesterday NCL cancelled my July 4th sailing out of Miami so I don’t think they will be sailing out of the US then.

I will only be thinking about cruising again once I'm allowed to explore by myself the port. That will take a while if ever...

Because the CDC does not allow cruises longer than 7 days until November and I wasn't sure if a "back to back" would qualify for that 7 day rule.
