In the original version, Morikawa was allowed to hang around the shop despite starting out as a bully and never really atoning for it. I'm glad that in this version of the story he might actually do a little atoning for his actions (and growing as a character) before he becomes a regular.

this episode was really good at re-introducing misaki's character and showing that aichi's not going to win every fight

A clean way to skip the Grade 1 phases unlike the G Era where its just an abrupt cut to Grade 3's
TheImaginativeWeirdo I think that is only because that on G-era, the main cards to get to quickly were the G-units. Grade 3 cards are the main stars again of this reboot.
That's one thing about the G Era I did not enjoy as much as the Team Q4 Era; The fights were not as in-depth and phase. It felt so choppy going straight to Grade 3 in an anime version of a game. A few shots of each stage would be good so we can tell how the characters are playing out their matches vs "My name is Chrono Shindou and this is how my Gears Crit2Win".
Yess so trueee. I mean I don't mind skipping the "animated fights" of few phases as long as we know what had been going on before the Grade 3 phase

I love Misaki, I didnt want a reboot, but seeing Misaki being badass is worth a reboot. I am also shocked by the results of the game since it was different in the manga, but it was a good surprise. I am also glad to ser Amaterasu played again.

It will be a while before Q4 is formed and Ultra Rare comes back! Ultra Rare beats that labyrinth group anytime! Prefer old Morikawa but he is such a tsundere here...
They changed the episode from the manga too and it's pretty dumb lol. Morikawa is using a royal paladin deck even though general siegfried is confirmed in next set
I guess the reboot won't follow the manga completely. Changes are nice though.
I'm just hoping that they let us have more then just Deleters as the Link Joker villains. In the manga the only Link Joker units where Deleters so I'm hoping they do some Star, Vader's in the story as well
She actually put the first trigger on top with daughter's ability. They skipped her second usage tho, which is something I do find annoying with the newer version (skipping parts of the game that are important).

"Kai's my vanguard," says Aichi. Looks like it's 4th episode in and he's already Kai's ultimate fan-girl. But the real crowd stealer of the episode was both Misaki and Shin--who are even more boss (namely Misaki) and loveable than before (shin), at least only when comparing them by animation. Plus Emi's comment during the preview at the end was adorable (total future waifu in training).

The highlight of this episode was Shin; I loved him the last series and I love him now. Though him calling misaki's dad "uncle" confuses me because I thought they were brothers.

Since the first season Misaki has a lot of similarities with Kai especially when she walks having her hands inside her packets and looking straight with a serious face, or how she carry her bag over the back of her shoulders, or looking angry and telling someone to shut up, or how she crossed her arms most of the time its like she is the female version of Kai
I’m not a big fan of them skipping some of the phases in a fight I like to see the five from start to finish I know it takes a long time but that’s just me
It's not only you. I also like watching the fight from first until finish like the first season did, but I think the possibility to see that is low, since they need to build the story, etc. @_@

If I remember correctly, I think the next episode concludes vol 1 of the manga. And yes, I liked this episode. And I'm guessing the episode after is gonna start vol 2... and probably gonna see the upcoming manga original character...and also Ren(Probably). If you all questioning why i'm mentioning manga volumes is because it's a noobs helper's guide for noobs.

Really, cuz last that 1 read, the next episode covers ch 4, and vol 1 only has 4 chapters. The 1st vol only has 4 chapters. ep 1 and 2 covers CH 1, ep 3 covers ch 2, ep 4 covers ch 3, and from the looks of it, ep 5 is gonna cover ch 4.

Having them talk makes them FEEL alive. When they were mute in all previous seasons, they felt just like ragdolls. Emotionless, lifeless ragdolls. Now they feel like Soldier's protecting their king or "Vanguard"
I totally agree dude! I mean, in previous series they'd speak but that were all under special conditions (i.e Cray lore, units attempting special communication with a partner/vessel, & if your name is Aichi Sendou who speaks to all his Blaster Blade n G3s). However, in CFV V the audience and game gets a more fulfilled war between Fighters. It'd bring the idea of a "Fighter" in that world more depth and meaning.
We all know it's anime, but it's weird af to be talking to something that only goes "Hm", "Argh!" and pouring so much emotional attachment to whenever they get defeated or in more CFV lore cases, terrible inconveniences to a unit. Now, when these same types of inconveniences occur in this series, it will feel as though we're seeing something close to them be tormented.
It's sad that it never happened in G given that units literally MATERIALIZED on Earth. Only Gyze and Dran had voices but that's very underwhelming when there's a diverse range of units that we've seen literally meet their users and drive the plot.

Naw I think this new comedic approach is good for the series because we are all starting fresh plus shin rarely had screen time in the first vanguard series at least in this one he talks and has a comedic side we all could talk about as fans of this series I personally like how the cray units interact with there vanguards but I think if psyqualia comes into play the units will speak more and give the players a better strategy while on the frontline I’m loving the show it renewed my love for the game 🤗🤗🤗✌️✌️✌️✌️😁😁😁

Yall you dont know how happy this makes me i think its the first time i ever liked a reboot so much; old cards get buffs and new stuff added and generally makes the game more fun now. I stopped playing vg when the g series started cus things got so confusing for me but hey now im back thank god the stride generation shit is over
