It's 2020 and I wanted to share another collection video with you. This collection includes toys and figures from Toy Biz, Hasbro and Diamond Select. Marvel Comics teams represented by this collection include X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, Dark Avengers, Uncanny X-Force, All-New Avengers, Master of Evil, Deadpool and so much more! So come join Wolverine, Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Deadpool and the rest and enjoy a lengthy look at my collection.

I wanna start a collection so this is why I'm here
Oh you mean a long time ago a toy collection I was a kid I played with many toys and and I even and I even an even or noun and grown-ups and my name is Polar bar and I’m five years old and I’ll build this action figures along time ago and I love love love love toys yeah but I’m actually illegal but I still love toys and all of these different cool things that I love
I’m thirteen but started collecting when I was 11 so I’m trying to get my collection like this

Great video Rob! Always a fan of the collection updates! I would love to see them repurpose that Abomination body into Ch'od, also hoping to see the Starjammers in the MCU through a Guardians crossover, hopefully.
You know, Fox could have done Starjammers before GoTG. I don't get why they didn't. My worry now is that they're too similar to the Guardians to be featured alongside the team. But maybe, in ten years, after the X-Men are introduced, and Chris Pratt and crew decide they want to move on from their Marvel work, the Starjammers will be brought in to fill that void.

Rob Pollock Thanks man! You don’t have to though, I’m sure Hasbro will re-release him at some point, like how they re-released the fantastic four in their modern costumes. They’ll probably put him in that riders line, with like a cosmic stand for the board similar to the marvel select version.

I like the way you grouped your figures
Thank You! Completing teams and eras is probably my favorite part about collecting. I like looking at the different groupings and remembering the comic stories associated with each incarnation of various teams.
Amazing vid! What are the bases you used for hall of armor display
Those are actually transporter pad display bases that came with the Art Asylum/Diamond Select Star Trek: The Next Generation collector figure line. I believe a base came with Riker, Worf and Troi. Unfortunately, they stopped including bases after the few couple waves of figures. Hope that helps!

We all started somewhere. My first Legends were series 1 Cap, Iron Man and Hulk. Never found Toad.

@@D21BeastReviews Filling out a complete Abnett and Lanning Cosmic era would be awesome. Groot, in that Guardians uniform and make him taller than 80th Anniversary Hulk too. Phyla-Vell, Martyr or Quasar don't matter both awesome. Moondragon, Mantis, Bug man oh man.
But, hopefully they re-do Ronan that'd be awesome. And maybe Drax, I'd like that Hyperion upper torso with that Crossbones legs (pet peeve of mine mixing in iterations from other eras). Looks weird to me.
Roel Fiala I really need to read the Abnett and Lannings stuff. Annihilation and Conquest was all going on at the same time as Civil War back in the day and I poured all my resources into the earthbound conflict and it’s dozens of tie-in books. I’ve read some Starjammer stuff from around then, but that era of Marvel Cosmic is an unfortunate blind spot for me.

Loved the video. You have an amazing collection and they're displayed so beautifully. Do you prefer the Onslaught Baf series Cap over the 80th Anniversary Cap? I tend to love them both and go back and forth between which is my favorite.
I was never able to find an 80th Cap. From photos, I like the look a lot. Though I do wish the blue was lighter. Not having the figure, I'm still quite pleased with how Wolf Cap pairs up with 80th Iron Man, Hulk and Thor.
@@D21BeastReviews I couldn't find it in retail either and I ended up having to pay a higher price for my 80th cap through ebay. I agree, I wish the blue was more vibrant on the 80th version. The blue on the wolf cap I think is perfect and he fits in so well with his modern fellow Avengers, and he has that 90's look that I love.

Thank you very much! I've read so many different eras of X-Men especially, that I really like having each incarnation of the team represented separately. It's almost like the various team lineups are different characters unto themselves. In short; it's more fun for me. :D
@@D21BeastReviews that’s what I aspire to do with my figures. I mainly collect MCU stuff and hopefully when I flesh out the collection I’ll be able to to what u did and have them together, but segregated into their respective teams.

I was there, man. From the beginning. As you saw in the video, I still have the Sentinel and Apocalypse BAF. Unfortunately, I was never able to finish the Mojo, MODOK or Giant Man BAF. Distribution has always been terrible where I live in Missouri. And back then, I was just in high school and didn't have a lot of money. Online shopping was still sketchy too. I was never very impressed with the Toy Biz Onslaught BAF and once Hasbro released their own version I never looked back. I sold the Toy Biz version. I used to have the Galactus BAF but someone made a very large cash offer to me years ago and I foolishly let him go. Wish I hadn't now. I would still like to have a MODOK, but surely Hasbro will be announcing him at some point in the near future, so I'm not compelled to go spend inflated prices for him on eBay at the moment. Have you been tracking them down? Have any luck?

Hey Rob Loved the video what is the display base you are using when you are showing off the avengers
The display base specifically under Iron Man and Cap came with a Disney Store exclusive comic book Black Widow figure. The wooden steps/tiers that everyone else is standing on are actually sliding spice racks that I purchased from Walmart or Target a couple years back. I think they were about $15 each.

Thanks! The fire came from the Ultimate Green Goblin build-a-figure that released around the time that Amazing Spider-Man 2 was in theaters.

Rob Pollock yeah, the movies are great, but not better than the original source
Finally dove back into collecting about 16 months ago, and with what I have and the preorders I have I should hit about 200 figures by the end of this year. Amazing display, great use of verticality. Allot of figures but you have set it up so that none are lost in the shuffle. The X-Men heroes vs. villains is easily my favorite and makes me want to collect the X-Men Legends, but I am trying to stick to some rules. Focused on Avengers (MCU and comics), any and all Iron Man armours, MCU Asgard, and the MCU Guardians and Black Panther. Definitely grabbing the Eternals, the upcoming classic Iron Man wave, and the Disney + series as well as the not yet revealed What If wave. Only rule I broke so far is Spider-Man. Never intended to but I have a Spider-Verse display (not based on the movie itself, just a great display of Spider-Men and Spider-Man adjacent figures). I am definitely adding this video to my display inspiration playlist.

Kinda surprised you don’t have the Sinister 6 grouped together but awesome collection!
I have the Superior Six posed near each other lol. Yeah, the reason the Sinister Six are separated has more to do with how far apart each figure was released from each other. At some point I"ll overhaul the Spider-Man shelf and make it right.

If you wanted you could move Nighthawk up to the middle shelf with Namor and Silver Surfer and maybe move Doctor Strange closer for the Defenders. You could also add a hulk there but I don't know if he would fit with all the other figures you have there

@@D21BeastReviews The select really gives me the Jim Lee vibe. Jim drew him massive so I use that in my 90s display. The Hasbro version gives me Dave Cockrum vibes so I use that with my Giant-Size display. I think they both have their place. Excellent collection. I still need to finish my Spider-verse villains and cosmic characters. Totally agree about Terrax.
R. Hewlin Great point about the Cockrum/Lee difference! I think I definitely approach the X-Men from a Cockrum era mindset first. And until now, I never fully realized it. Thanks for the viewpoint!

This Christmas I'm finally starting my collection! I think I'm either going to start with the Sugar Man wave or the Venompool wave
Both are specialized waves. The X-Men fan in me wants to say go after the Sugar Man wave, but that Venompool BAF is nothing to sneeze at. Plus, you're getting a great Carnage and Morbius figure. Great collection 👌 ever consider using fishing string to hang ur figures instead of twist ties? I use it and it works amazingly! Twist ties look tacky as fuck js
Thank you! They’re contorted wire coat hangers actually. Not that they’re anymore pleasing to the eye. My problem with fishing line is that I can’t always get the figures hanging at the exact angle I want. Coat hangers don’t allow the figures to twirl or move as easy (or at all). In my experience anyway. 🤷♂️ Thanks for the suggestion though!

Cool collection. Why did you stop collecting MCU characters? That's mostly what my collection consists of.
Money. It was costing too much to keep up with EVERYTHING. After I cut out MCU I noticed I only had to really worry about picking up 40-50% of the figures coming out each year. I haven't looked back. Plus, MCU is so hard to keep up with. Once you've gotten all of the figures for Age of Ultron, or Civil War, you turn around and realized everyone's costumes changed AGAIN and now you have to start your team over again.
Would you mind telling me where you got that Marvel’s Constrictor Marvel Legend because I have been looking everywhere on the internet like Amazon, Big Bad Toy Store, Megalopolis, and Hasbro Pulse but it didn’t show it?
I bought him off the shelf from Walmart when he released eight years ago. Yeah... I've been collecting that long... and I'm that old. lol.

I don’t have the Walmart exclusive 2pk 90’s Domino that came with Cannonball, that’s true. But the Sasquatch wave modern Domino is posed with modern X-Force characters.
Have just been redoing my displays and I have a whole avengers shelf separated in rosters from a classic line up in the middle then to the left, new avengers into heroic age avengers into secret avengers. Then to the right I have 2013 Hickman era into the new avengers of that era into the all new all different avengers.

Thank you very much for saying so. I do still put out quite a few videos each week, but now they air on TV where I live. I'm a commercial producer these days. For a time, I tried doing videos at work and at home, but it got so exhausting. Always in front of screen whenever I wasn't sleeping. I needed to make the hard and healthy choice. Rob Pollock I totally understand that. I have my own UA-cam Channel and I’m also on front of screens on my day to day job so I know how it feels. I took a mental and physical leave from my hobbies and my channel for close to 6 months to reset. Started back at it the start of this year but definitely learned to only do videos when I feel like it not when i feel like i have too. :).

Phil Maghinay Gotta save my pennies where I can. I can’t afford to buy everything. Plus, I’m waiting for the mold to get re-released in a lighter shade of blue. All things considered, I think Wolf-Cap is still a really good classic Cap to have in the meantime. Wide face and all.

The shelves that I use were each purchased at Walmart over ten years ago. I can't even remember the brand name at this point. Back then, they cost about $50 each. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

Living in the middle of Missouri, My Toys R Us was pretty terrible when it came to availability of exclusives. I could never find the Mary Jane 2pk on store shelves, and it was always sold out online. I wasn't willing to pay eBay prices back then and they're even more ridiculous now. Unfortunately, I just never had a fair shot at the figure. Otherwise, I'd definitely have her. If you have any leads, I'm all ears.

What is that Captain America ur showing at 5:28
That is the Wolf-Cap figure from Red Onslaught BAF wave. It was also re-deco'd with scales and released as part of the first vintage wave of figures, but I find the paintwork of that version of Cap kind of cheap looking.

That the 90's Modular Iron Man figure from Toy Biz. He was part of a Marvel Legends Face-Off two pack with a really awful Mandarin figure. The two pack was also available with Modular Iron Man recolored black and grey ala Marvel Vs Capcom War Machine.
