Wish we had many more cold fronts. I'm loving the winter weather right now. Cloudy and cool. Perfect. Melbourne is like a baker's oven in summer. Summer sucks.
I prefer unstable weather. That way you get a few cooler days in summer. Never understood why everyone wants the weather to be stinking hot with maximum sun glare day after day. Anything else is considered bad. Why? Give me the Scottish climate. I lived in Dunedin, NZ for a few years. Loved the climate. Virtually no summer at all.

so Melbourne is just like Curitiba in Brazil, in winter's night the temperature may fall almost 0 degrees and at day it is about 15 degrees. And finally you are feelling under the weather.

A summer week in Melbourne
Can be like 26,33,36 then a day into the 40s then we get a cold front which puts us back into autumn for a day then restarts

Melbourne weather is so bad and duration of winter is for 7 to 8 months. And summer is also very unpredictable. Summer, hot one minute ,cold the next 😂
four seasons in one day, like my hometown. I like the place, I 'll go to Melbourne.
Many places in the world have rapidly changing weather. Melbourne is not exceptional in this regard. What is really annoying is that in winter, it almost never gets cold enough to snow but while it rain the whole day. Not a place to go if you are prone to depression.
And even if it doesn't rain, you get constant dark cloudy skies. Very little sunshine.

You're not an idiot dude. Lots of people think they are from Oz, the same with Russel Crowe. Most people think is is an Aussie but he is actually a Kiwi. In fact for a country it's size the Kiwis have produced some very talented people.

Melbourne weather is shit
Melbourne is good except for summer which is oppressively hot. If I had a choice (which I don't) I would move to Hobart where it's cooler. The Melbourne summer sucks.
