This man is so humble and honest, the work he did in TNA was awesome and the time he spent in NXT until his release was great as well as the match he had with Gunther.
I’m not gonna pretend I knew Ali prior to WWE, but he’s easily probably one of my favorites that really hasn’t reached the top yet. I hope he can get there in one company or another
MUSTAFA ALI is one of the most gifted wrestlers out there... the way he wrestles reminds me really of Shawn michaels !!! WWE should REHIRE him ... !!! very gifted wrestler !!!
@@th3seek3r60 You do realize when his first daughter was born, he started doing only a few live events, and then when his 2nd daughter was born in 2008 he did even fewer live events, and then Semi Retired after Wrestlemania 26 which was 2010. That's why people consider him a good dad, because he decided to spend more time with his kids.
I’m one of the few who felt he was getting stale in WWE and as soon as he started turning things around his release came but I would love to see him get another chance with the gimmick he has now
I am strongly confident that he was let go only to become a bigger star. He will be back. No doubt in my mind. Also: can we please highligh Triple H's leadership? Man. WWE will be (SOMEHOW) even BIGGER in 2 years. This man is what the company needed all along.
How did I come here and get even MORE amazed by Triple H?! Legit regardless if the job didn't work out, he did a personal thing for him that he didn't had to do or could get him in trouble but his response waa immediate and caring. Gosh, such a good attitude all around.
I think we had to deal with the “Kliq” Triple H in the 90s, the Reign of Terror in the 2000s, and the Authority in the 2010’s in order for the universe to give us a win with Triple H as a Boss in the 2020s
Other wrestlers have said the same thing about Vince even saying he called personally to then after they left. So let’s not kid ourselves as if Vince wasnt HHH mentor.
dude was too professional and putting the business ahead of himself when he could couldve been a but more selfish. he was a rising star and constantsly saying "yes lets do that" istead of "no, that doesnt work for me". hogan did it, hbk did it, rock did it, austin did it, orton did it, cena did it, taker did it when it made sense story wise. there comes a time when you have to selfish and Ali was not selfish and he lost out on a better/longer/more proftable career
Isn't Fenix a masked wrestler? I'm thinking if he is he could be Ali under a mask. I could be wrong but there's times I've looked at Rey guy that would tag up with the other guy that was in aew and everytime I see em I'm thinking who's under the mask
@quakes1841 Not "could" be wrong, you ARE wrong, SO wrong. Fenix has been around for years, wrestling for multiple companies in multiple countries. Unless Ali can be in different places AT THE SAME TIME he's not Fenix.
But will hhh be that understanding when business is down and not making money. even my boss is understanding when the work is done and everything is golden but when it’s Black Friday or busy as hell he is a right knob
not sure why but pro-wrestlers these days have forgotten mike skills, back then 70% people with mike skills used to crack jokes, act idiots and roast other while 30% wrestlers use threatening language, these days 70% wrestlers think their jumping around ,doing stunds will earn them a name , while rest of them use threatening language, they need to learn mike skills from chris jerico, john cena, rock, stonecold and many others while persona from triple h, shawn, kane , undertake and lots of many others from attitude era. these days pro-wrestlers are absolute joke even roman reigns
Worst part about this guy was every time I read about the results on bleacher report, the writer of the article would BLOW this guy and go on and on about how great he was.
Well the Bottom line is if he can't sell and bring Merch and also have Fans behind him then that explains why. My opinion he wasn't the Top star because there's alot of good high flyers but it's little boring watching people fly & do cool moves without being good on the Mic those are The facts.
Two years BEFORE he got released ... which means two years before, he felt like shit and didn't want to stay. Then they called him back and they worked out whatever problem(s) he had. Hell, he was LITERALLY in a major program to the point that NXT was surprised. So yeah, surprised.

WWE is corrupt guys
Von Wagner next
This man is so humble and honest, the work he did in TNA was awesome and the time he spent in NXT until his release was great as well as the match he had with Gunther.
Such a humble guy. I hope one day we see him again in the WWE. If we don’t I just want to see him succeed.

He is really good...he reminds me really of Shawn Michaels...he has the same kind of skills and movements in the ring !!!
He needs to work on his microphone skills and character once he gets that down he has the potential to reach the world title scene
@@ZStranger188this is facts he’s very good just need to work on some things
Mustafa Ali is a damn fine cruiserweight wrestler, and throughout his WWE career he kept improving. I would welcome his return to the big show.
Am I the only one who thought he asked for his release
nope
He did but that was a while before it happened I believe
He did ask for it, but that was years prior, back when Vince was still around and they were coming back from COVID, I remember that.
Addresses that at 2:55 ish
No. why would you think that?
The promos he did by himself showed he has way more potential than WWE thought.
Love his attitude
I agree. Its easy to root for a person who seems to have an upbeat and humble attitude
This guy is very articulate 😊
He is also a chicago police officer. or was.
@@tsdqhussainHe was never a Chicago cop lol. He worked for the Homewood police department a rich suburb. 😂
I liked ali future IC champion if he comes back......Carmelo vs ali has to happen
He sounds better in a interview

I believe in a year or two that Ali will be back in 'WWE.
I love Triple H. Amazing father and boss

Jinder and Ali both are gems. They are so humble and did the best with what they were given.

Really like that you see the sincerity on his face when he talks.
I respect him for not shitting on wwe he deserves more I’m glad he’s doing well in impact

I really hope next year they can bring him back to wwe, I was really starting to enjoy his nxt run!

Mustafa Ali kind of sounds like Bryan Danielson when being interviewed. So articulate with his words.
If I remember correctly he had been asking for his release for a while so I was like they finally gave it to him
Seems like Hunter knows there's business, but there's also things that just have a higher priority.
one thing you can say by being released from WWE they gave him net worth and can make money off it now
I can see ali being bigger than ricochet this guy can talk, if he can bulk up more then he will definitely be a star.
Mustafa and Ricochet are so underratedly good that I wished they were utilized better with their skill sets

Mustafa Ali is great ❤❤❤
What an intelligent dude. He’s gonna be just fine
I have a feeling that if it was Vince, he would have been obligated to relocate to Orlando like everyone else.
Love you Ali I am big fan ❤❤❤❤

He’s gonna be back next year guaranteed
Maybe Triple H really isn’t as big of a jerk as I thought
I was actually shocked that he got canned when he got a scheduled Championship match..
I know if he stayed with wwe now he be top tier caliber
I have a greater respect for MA now.
Doing good in tna tho
I like his attitude
Wwe should really have a cruiserweight title. So many talented small guys are there.
Now Corbin....
No big loss he was decent cruiserweight or for nxt far better suited in tna
Chris can you interview Von Wagner
Guy who asked for his release, got surprised when it happened
he changed his mind though
Didn’t he keep asking for his release in 2022?
It was actually before then, but then the regime changed.
Yes. And then when he saw what was on the horizon, he stayed. Worked through it and came out better. Then got cut off out of nowhere.
Do they get paid during the 90 days ?
