After months of effort and time, I am proud to release the first public footage of this custom Animatronic character in action.
If you are interested in this project and have any questions, please email me at beamanrobotics@gmail.com
I would love to hear from you or be of any assistance.

This is incredible. I'd love to make something similar of my own one day.
I absolutely love it! The design is very efficient and lightweight, I hope to see you make a suit for it in the future.
Thanks! Animatronics has been a passion of mine for so long. Unfortunatly I probably won't make a suit for this character due to the design of the frame.
If I wanted the cosmetics to be pleasing to the eye I would have to redesign alot of the mechanisms. Seeing as this was a prototype, I actually have a little more up my sleeve to come, So keep an eye out on my channel over the next few months!
You could duplicate the animatronic after putting on the suit and stuff a fake corpse on the clone one and there you have it, springtrap

@Beaman Robotics Where have ya been? Any updates?
Looks awesome! I can’t wait to see more.
2 years in and he still didnt post another vid lol
@@slerperlc Ik I’ve been waiting
I was planning on creating a full Freddy Fazbear Band, and i was blank on bonnie's endoskeleton. This gives me inspiration for a mech thanks!
(I will give you credit for the inspiration, btw)
This is amazing! Studio C approves 😉
Yay!! :D
Very cool. Who knew pen cylinders could be so strong! Is this generic serial code from the computer?
Actually it isn't. I'm using a software called PC-Macs which is distributed to work with the Gilderfluke control boards found here
www.gilderfluke.com/
Could you make a video explaining how you made this? Like how and what you used to make the arms, waist and head move?
Do you have a discord? I have been looking to make a animatronic for months it's my dream but I'm not sure how to make it I was hoping you could tell me and also if you can't do that can you make a tutorial for the structure and everything and if you can't do that can I get a custom whatevers Easier thank you
Animatronics are really hard to make and expensive as well, it would help if you supported the channel
Thanks! Appreciate it Daniel :)
Great work , It looks absolutely amazing! I was wondering how the controller tho ( the thing that programs it to move on its own ) Where could I find one? Because I'm going to try to make my own animatronic but idk where to find the controller for it.
Are you still around?
Looks like beach bear
Maybe like the Wolfpack 5 Beach bear
Only problem with this is the mouth doesn’t move when the head goes down
Very off topic but I thought your username was Beanman robotics. The animatronic is really neat though!
Great animatronic! What air compressor do you use? And do you use a prop controller to control it?
wow THIS LOOKS AWESOME
awsome! where do you like to get your materials from?
Amazon and Home Depot probably
I'm currently learning about animatronics like that. First i learned how servo motors work and now about the basics of a Pneumatic system. But i don't get how a Pneumatic animatronic works fully yet. Any information you can give me will be appreciated. Thank you.
he stands like the king animatronic
is it just me or do i feel like this could be a jasper cyberamic??
This is cool stuff
can you post more
It's been 3 years... Have you made any more progress?
I’m trying to make something like this currently
That's incredible
the movement is very smooth i like it
Thank you! I really tried to work with the programming to make movements smoother seeing as you can only get so lifelike with pneumatic cylinders..
Do you guys think he could make working fnaf animatronics?
would you be so kind and tell me wat controller you are using?
I have a pneumatic bird animatronic I want to program to the picoBoo FI-104
Can you hook up a valve bank to this?
How many movements can you program?
How long can you record sound with animation, I have a 4 min song that I need 4 mins of animation to?
If this is not cable to program a pneumatic bird animatronic too, then can you give me other advice. resources?
I'm really in to robotics and I simply can't find a place to buy them I'm thinking of making my own any advice?
I ment to say animatronics

Fantastic!
This is amazing!
wow , i like so much that
It's great?!
are u going to make more of these?
Hi! Can you give us a tutorial for the programming of the cylinders?
awesome but turn down the air pressure for it, because it will break the mechanisms, with the guitar raise being heavy, it might even wallow out some stuff
Actually Fin, the air pressure is required to lift the guitar, because the cylinders are tiny and hold less air In the chamber, it's hard to get the flows accurate. In this case, not as easy as you think it is
@@Joshua-Beaman yea I know bro, but like still it can break, I own cylinders and an animatronic too, I wish people would stop telling me stuff that I already figured out 2 years ago just because this was a fnaf acc before
@@finthefnafgamer5433 haha bro I saw your earlier comment, I don't know why you felt the need to remove it and repost one with a stronger tone - but it's all good. No need to criticize me on my early work though seeing as I made do with what I had. I also did build the character so I know the mechanical limits, and that thrashing wasn't enough to damage anything. Mind you this footage is years old, and since I've made a whole different character that I'm still working on, using high grade cylinders. There will be a video up soon ☺️
@@Joshua-Beaman yea ik sorry abt that I just yknow got a lil bit tired of a person who kept underestimating me about pneumatics and stuff, just because this was a fnaf acc, also I deleted the other one because I didn't think you were the owner, I'm soo dumb lol
@@finthefnafgamer5433 it's all good haha. Do you have a video up of your character? I'd love to see it :D
can you make a fnaf animatronic
I would love to make one of these
Cool! How’d you program your animatronic?
Most likely vixen lights
@@TheFunArchivist Actually no, I used a control board made specifically for animatronic characters within the darkride industry. An american company named Gilderfluke created this control board called the minibrick 8!
@@beamanrobotics3143 nice! When will you be uploading a new video?
@@TheFunArchivist Probably a couple of months till I can get around to my new project so expect one relatively soonish. I'm sure youtube will let you know if anything uploads
Wow ima give a sub
I read your discussion with the other guy about portrait cec bots. If I were to get permissipn from the copyright holder of a certain ptt character, could you make a replica?
Yes :)
Mind you, it’d cost a bit...
@@beamanrobotics3143 do you know how much approximately an upper body only animatronic with 3 movements would cost?
Give me details. Costume or no costume, programming or no programming, metal or wood?
@@beamanrobotics3143 what should I use to contact you directly?
That’s absolutely awesome! O:
I reeeaalllyy want an animatronic of my own but my parents don’t want to get me one qwq
They are a lot of work to keep and maintain
@@Joshua-Beaman Not necessarily.
COBALT Engineering you’d be surprised
@@beamanrobotics3143 They are only hard to maintain if you have one that constantly needs to maintained, the ones i like to test and sometimes build are ones that are not in any need for oil or maintainence.
I’d love to see them ?
How are you controlling this particular animatronic? Like what are your using for a control board. if you do reply to this i would love it if you would tell me, the reason i am asking is because i am currently making plans to build my own animatronic, whoever i don't have a way to control it. Best regards, COBALT Engineering.
COBALT Engineering No need to be so formal 😂 the board I’m using is called a BR-Minibrick 8 by gilderfluke. They’re a little pricy, and I’m the video you can see that I’ve got mine hooked up to a bunch of relays. This project is worth about 5000 dollars, just a heads up. If the price isn’t an issue, go have a read of this blog from the people who produce these boards (I’m at the bottom of the page) gilderflukeandcompany.business.blog/2020/02/14/the-br-minibricks-4-8-animatronic-dreams-realized/ :D
@@beamanrobotics3143 Thanks! Also i like to be formal. :)
@@beamanrobotics3143 Hi again, I would like to give a small update on what I've done lately. Since the control module you linked wasn't in my price range, I started experimenting on different methods to figure out a cost effective way to control an animatronic instead. So, I thought about using MIDI to control it, and it was a great idea. What I have ended up with is an Arduino to MIDI setup, that is then controlling relays. I use the free program named Waveform, which works really well for recording and playing back any MIDI inputs.
Looks like Billy Bob from RAE.
It functions more like the King from Pizza Time Theater.
@@sethhorst6158 That's right
@@sethhorst6158 I guess so, The only thing is that my characters arm that strums has more movements along side a guitar lift.

Hey Kaelan!
Unfortunately I wouldn’t sell this particular model due to it just being a prototype, how ever if you were very interested I would custom make a character for you? I must warn you though it costs a fair bit. This character you see here I would have to sell for about $2,500 dollars.
Feel free to email me at BeamamRobotics@gmail.com and I can talk with you :)
@@Joshua-Beaman what if you made a wood one with just 2 movements? eye lids and mouth? how much would it cost?
KAELANTHEFOX
Remember you’ll also need a compressor for it to run, and a control board if you want to automate it. If you email me I’ll tell you an estimated cost :)
@@beamanrobotics3143 I cant email you
KAELANTHEFOX I’m assuming you’re in US?
A mouth and eye blink movement is simple. It’d be about 250 dollars for a full body character with two movements. If you wanted one, I’d supply the entire character plus the solenoid bank (no electronics however)

@@toodamnripley6711 said it better than me
@@toodamnripley6711 Been there, seen it all. May aswell embrace it~
Can you show us how to activate and deactivate the aninatronic and show us the wirings of ut
There's no wires, it's only air tubes, and hoses, an air compressor, pneumatic air cylinders, and air valves. The computer that's running this will send signals to the valves, (those things he showed you when he opened that box) which will then send air that is taken from the air compressor, through the tubes that are connected to the cylinders. The air pressure will then make the piston in the cylinder either push outwards, or inwards. The tip of the piston is connected to a hinge, so when that piston pushes in or out, it moves, for example an arm. So, there's a messy explanation on how just one movement works. Sorry for making zero sense lol.
:)
:D
*thinking dave noises* perhaps we could clone it and put a fake corpse in the clone one
fnaf
It's Bonnie from FNAF!!
no.
Maybe you could use this module to make Bonnie the Bunny from Five Nights at Freddy's.
That would be an insult to the animatronic community. Five Nights at Freddy's is disgusting, not because of the story, not because of the games, not even because of Scott cawthon himself. It's the damn community. They have ruined animatronics. No I'm not saying the five Nights at Freddy's as a bad game, because it isn't.
@@thechaoplushproductions4144 Yeah you're right, I should hold that thought. The owner of this video needs to come up with a character of his own that fits with this robot and can play guitar, not steal Bonnie the Bunny from Fnaf.
