Bridging the gaps between the two stories that end the UC timeline proper.
Well, we know it sucks a lot. But Gaia Gear’s finale actually does have ramifications for G-Saviour prelude. The whole fact the Federation has collapsed in G-Saviour is very much set up with the manhunter’s coup and the fact they usurped the federation with the combined force of the entire EFSF. Not to mention when the federation was betrayed, their only true response was to bribe their enemies (Metatron’s leadership outside of Afranche Char) and have them bombard a peaceful innocent and occupied country from orbit with sub-nuclear missiles. The federation would have them destroy the manhunters, but this left the federation and the colonies without a military to control the colonies afterwards. Leading to their collapse just a few years before G-Saviour. I know G-Saviour suck. We ALL know it sucks, but it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t matter. G-Saviour is just an epilogue. Gaia Gear is the TRUE ending.
It is so wrong to say Full Frontal was "before" Affranchi Char, that came out like a decade after Gaia was ever written, and by a different author. It's something like an alternate universe or a retcon, a fan insert from outside. I treat it like any other fan fiction, except that it was professionally written and developed. Full Frontal didn't come before, it literally came after. It was written after, it was animated after, it was designed after, and it was likely informed and inspired by Gaia's representation of Afranchi. Also, Unicorn is canon according to "Sunrise/Bandai," Gaia is written by Tomino. Which do you prefer to base your canon on, canon as per the model kit company that owns the IP, or the author of the entire franchise? Remember that this is the company that dunked Tomino and Gaia over IP infringement, and the entire reason that we will never get a localized Gaia adaptation (or gunpla, for that matter).
Lol. We cannot escape it. The unfortunate truth, that the two stories need each other to survive. Gaia Gear being the glorious and beautiful Yin. To G-Saviour’s absurd and terrible Yang. One resulting in a beautiful send off piece as well as a crummy, cheesy and mediocre follow up. A true mediocre ending if ever there was one

Do you have to acknowledge g savior the game was good but the movie not so much
Well, we know it sucks a lot.
G Saviour isn't canon
Still waiting for a Gaia Gear series
@@mtsthoughts2008 Well then you better keep on dreaming
Literally is canon even if you don't like it, Bandai hasn't ever said it isn't canon
@@Gnardstingler i mean if we could get hathaway movies in this lifetime, there's might be, *might be* a little hope for it since there's already an audio drama with opening, ending, and fullflage ost
Ehh why are there KKK members in hoods with the Nazi flag on one of the covers? 🤣
Char what have you gotten yourself into?
Lol. For context: there’s a LOT of stuff that happens in the books that doesn’t get covered in the radio drama. The scene in which that stuff is depicted is actually during a vision sequence. Where the protagonist Afranche has this big revelation about the darkness of human history and stuff.
