Thanks for the honest review, i love mine and it holds its own againts these other speakers well, and the 360 degree sound sets it above some, killer review man
The JBL definitely sounds best. Nice review man!
The way that bro mooves is also just epic😂
Danny got the moves!
Did you have it updated?
Please do more video about marshall killburn 2
Nice speaker ❤
I see one on sale for $153 sooooo, good deal👀 if its still available tomorrow Ill see about it
Hi there Danny - The EverBoom just came out - Can you do a comparison between Epic Boom and Ever Boom !!! Thanks
It sounds like you’re listening to loud music with earplugs in compared to the JBL and the smaller Marshall
While I don't have multiple speakers to compare it to, I enjoy my epicboom.
for sound quality and outdoor, is the epicboom better than the sony xg300?
You can get 2x Onn Large Party Speakers for $240 right now and blow all of them out of the water. One of them would be enough already, tbh.
The Epicboom is a bit too bassy, but it does look great. I’d pick the Marshall probably.
It definitely sounds like it's missing tweeters. Danny explained, but based on what we heard, it just doesn't sound comparable. Middleton sounds better and the Kilburn sounds like it's got too much treble. The JBL Extreme is alien technology. It really shouldn't be compared to human made speakers.
I'd say 250 is a solid buy for that speaker
I have the mega boom trust n believe the boom is real and it literally lasts 20-24 hours and u have to adjust the eq if u want all the highs and they are loud it’s worth money
Sorry I shouldn’t say terrible. It’s not bad. I just used to be a huge UE Boom fan but for the size of it, I’d expect a bit more crisp. It sounds deep and bassy, but a lot of people like the bass.
Mine only plays on one side 💀
For me, UE speakers always sound a little muffled and artificial
I got the soundcore motion 300 and that was good and better than my UE Megaboom
But now I’ve got the JBL flip 6 and the audio quality is just so much better
Never been a ‘JBL fanboy’ but they know how to make a great speaker
Marshall win
Personal opinion but the megaboom 3 probably trumps these then its the hyperboom this speaker doesnt seem good enough hyperboom regularly goes on sale and you can get it second hand too amazing
It's criminal to call this EPICboom. Scooped mids so hard. That JBL is my fav and it usually starts wrong with distortion because JBL usually distorts at max. *m
UE sounds warm & thick. JBL sounds bright. Both Marshalls sound better than the rest.
I would choose jbl. You can't go wrong with them. Epicboom sounds boomy and it's not open sounding like jbl
yeah the recording suggests that, but honestly it sounded about the same when in person.
Ok I’ll help you out on the music…. Go retrieve Nine Inch Nails “closer” and play that as a test. You’ll also retain the respect you lost in your selection of this shit song
JBL sounds the best followed by that Large Marshall speaker.
Realistically it should be around a $200 speaker. Decent but not outstanding.
JBL wins for me
Too muffled sounding
Where's our nugget
Was 50$ quality over everything
How can you rate a speaker off of that terrible music?
I'm sure he tested other music before forming an opinion.
The reason for shitty music here is copyright. If you play copyrighted music, the copyright owner, let's say Drake, takes 100% of your video's profits despite you doing all the work to make the video and just simply using a copyrighted song. So if there's 0% profit for you, there's zero incentive to make a video good, or make any videos at all.
So you either use something completely copyright free, or something for which you can buy copyright, which is most likely the case here.
Man that sounds terrible 😢 the kilburn sounds the best
The kill burn is not a 360 speaker. Its better if you are in the sweetspot (his microphone). We can’t really judge a speaker by listening a video on UA-cam with your own speakers.
Dont like the + & - bottom looks like a cross...I'm not buying it..i'm no Christian
*Just want you guys to know that the reason the EPICBOOM sounds a bit different in the recording is because it doesn't have a "sweet spot" that some of the other more directional speakers do. That's just a limitation of my recording equipment from my single cardioid microphone. It does sound comparable to all the others and I give the sound a "thumbs up" :)
Can it be used as a speaker phone?
@brucebanner3566 it doesn't have a built in microphone
