The Natasha denona palette also reminded me of the : Profusion : Harvest palette!! I was wondering if you could also do a comparison between the two , to see if they’re similar? Because I am not sure which one to choose ! 😣
An excellent way to review a pallet. Showing and explaining 5 reasons pro and con. You definitely are way ahead of so many other creators by not pushing a product on us , but giving us reasons and other options.Thank you you for such an informative video💕💕💕
I really like this style of video. The 5 reasons for why and why not are very useful. Your dupes are always great as well! Love the looks you made with this pallet!
Me too! I believe she did the same style video on the Huda palette that was released last fall. This palette is not for me, but I still really enjoyed the video!
I really enjoyed this type of video. The harder application of some of the shades might drive me nuts. I have an autoimmune disease that's been making it harder for me to do makeup anyway. I love the colors though. But I'll hold off for now especially since I can't quite afford it. But who knows I might just change my mind sometime. If she does a mini version with some of the same vibe I might go for that.
Definitely same. Im a 100% neutral girl with muted pops of color but this palette does NOT appeal to me one bit. Why ? 1 - not enough cool lor neutral tones and depth thus not enough variety or options 2 - too heavy on olive or warm oranges hence all looks may lean into that direction either way 3 - its not unique. Weve seen olives before. Sydney Grace mountain trail, Nomad, etc.
"5 Reasons" are my favorite videos of yours. As much as the dupes, because of your straightforward assessments that benefit every skin type and color. Thank you! Looks like ABH has a new palette: Cosmos. May I put in a vote for 5 Reasons on that one?
Great review! I'm on the no camp- those colors and my skin don't go together. I love that you don't fawn over ND, it just makes me trust your reviews so much more. When you said the two shades were patchy and shear, they actually showed up that way on camera. I will say these looks were much darker than I expected. Overall,I think it's an ugly palette but hope others enjoy it.
@@greezly25 Hey there! I have a cool undertone with pale skin that gets red but rarely tan. I can't wear oranges or yellows because it makes me look sallow and blueish.
FINALLY!!!!! A Natasha Denona palette that isn't coming straight for my wallet!! 😂 These colors make me look like my liver is failing, so it's an easy pass for me.
Another thought. In the past there have been so many palettes that favored fair/light skin tones. The brands would claim the colors were for all people, but clearly that was a stretch, as the swatches didn't look great (or even show up) on medium or darker skins. The ABH Rose Metals palette seemed to be a shift, as that one was absolutely meant to be for medium to darker skinned folks. Sure, it can be worn by everyone, but from what I've seen, it wouldn't be great for fair/light skin unless you wanted smoky, sultry, and sexy looks for everyday. Def not me LOL. Yucca seems like it would be awesome for olive and tanned skin, maybe someone with Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, or Latina heritage. So, those color stories aren't for me, but it's so great to see brands thinking more inclusively!
I was also thinking that. My skin is very fair with strong pink undertones, and my eyes are blue. I think Jen looks great in these colors, but yes, I think the palette may be intended for people with brown eyes and olive or medium toned skin. I'm thinking that the choices Jen made of which colors to apply together made the difference! I do wear warm browns for eye shadow, and I think those are the most becoming shades on me. But I don't use extremely yellow or orange colors. I envy those with brown eyes because I think they have more options for colors!
@20thcenturyrelic yes, me too! I'm very fair/pink with brown eyes, and I just couldn't pull those shades off. I love olive eyeshadow in the fall but it has to be very subtle.
@@jilljohnson251 I've been using an olive green eye shadow on my outer corners. I like it with warmer browns. It's part of a palette I bought, so I decided to try it. I try to keep it subtle!
ND's Yucca palette is what would happen if Juvia's Nomad and Tribe palettes had a baby 😂 I gotta say Jen, I simply LOVE this format for introducing a new palette to us! We get everything that's great about first impressions rolled into one video, yet it still manages to be a bit more of a comprehensive video than the "standard" first impression we've all seen hundreds of times. Considering that we get multiple looks for inspiration + tutorials with mini reviews about individual shades, we also get comparisons to other palettes' color stories, AND we get a list of pros&cons.. (aka: an antihaul smack in the middle of a first impression vid 😆), I have NO clue how you find the time to do it all. With this palette being released only a couple of days ago, I can only imagine how much time it took to film all the looks + swatches, and how hard you must've gone at the editing to get it up for us so fast.. do you even sleep? 😂 I, like most of your subs, super appreciate you and just wanted to say thanks! At first, I wasn't sure if I was gonna get this palette bc of certain shades in its color story, but now I can't wait to get my hands on it 😁 Lastly, for those who are like me and can't really wear yellows or yellow leaning greens (on me, those shades make it look like I have a black eye that's not quite done healing), how I make it work is that I avoid using anything with a yellowish undertone in or above my crease and in my outer corner. Bc I have pretty heavily hooded eyes, having the yellowish tone on the perimeter of my look is what really makes it look like an old bruise. Instead, I'll only use those kinds of colors on my lids. Most of the time I'll put the lighter/more pale yellows on the inner part of my eyelid to highlight that area (using it for contrast to the rest of the look so it makes my eyes seem more open), and I'll put the midtone yellows on the center of the lid. That way I still get to utilize the entire palette and not feel like I wasted money on one where I can only use half of the shades. Anyway, great video Jen! Hope you and the family have a great weekend!
Actually , I think it works better for dark skin tones and darker brown, black, olive and hazel eyes. I find this very good as most of her pallets work the best on blue or green eyes, eventhou I personally think that reds and even mauce reds works great on brown eyes, and hazel not just green. Natasha is very concentrated on skin tones, undertones, etc, and this is great, but I find most of her classics, like naturals Biba or from Glam, ofc, Lila, kinda do better and more for blue or green eyes. Gold and Star are pretty good for brown eyes , but are bigger and pricier, so I think this one is in medium size is well done. Edit- you later told this. Great review!
this color story is right up my alley!!! i loveeee how warm, colorful yet neutral, and the murky, swampy shades in it. i don’t have anything like this in my collection whatsoever. i’ve never tried one of her midi palettes, and i think i will purchase this someday. i LOVEEEED the looks you created!!! 💚💚💚
As a mom, Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath are my self care! 😂 I don’t always have time to do great eye looks, but when I do, those are what I reach for!
Jen, thank you for this detailed video. I really appreciate you taking time to include popular palettes with a similar vibe. I have 2 of the ones you mentioned (Urban Decay Naked Honey & BH Cosmetics Avocado Toast). Plus I have the ND Mini Gold. So I’m happy to watch my fave creators do looks with this palette, and this way I can “shop my stash” for a similar look. Have a great weekend!
I bought this palette, but haven't gotten it in the mail yet. I love ND's formula! Depending on the shade, I find it easier to pat the shadow down on the lid exactly where you want it to go and then blending it (or continue patting it to blend it). The one thing I notice with her formulas is that once they melt into the skin they look better hours later than when you first put them on. AND it will last all day until you take it off at night. Can't wait to get this palette in the mail!!
Another super comparable palette is the Ace Beaute Tropical Vibes palette! I wish you had that one to swatch and compare. It has all those mucky greens and mustards, plus lots of orangey neutrals. :)
I have Tropical Vibes, the mattes are everything! Pigmented but SO easily blendable. Ace Beaute formulated a beautifully pigmented formula that's as sheer or deep as you want it. ❤
@@justrose6978 I agree!! I was so happy when they reformulated. The formula now is almost perfection. The only matte formula that is better imo is the blend bunny cosmetics one.
I have the Tropical Vibes palette, I think Katie Marie compared the two. Tropical Vibes is a lot darker, and only has two shimmers, it’s a beautiful palette, Yucca is a lot lighter, so I think they compliment each other well.
I feel like the tones in this pallet are more of an Autumn toned. 🤷♀️ I definitely am passing on this one personally. Also when it comes to Colourpop and ND formula, I 100% agree with you! I reach for my CP shadows over my ND.😊 I have a lot of both, and the CP mattes are a lot faster and easier to blend when your not wanting to spend a ton of time blending. Nabla is another brand I seem to reach for more than ND as well.
I'm really glad to see your swatches - there are way more yellow shades than it seems in the pan. I love swampy greens, but I don't like yellow shadows: they make my eyes look bloodshot, and highlight the red in my irises. So basically I'm a zombie! 🧟♀️ I definitely have other options for grungy greens, so I'm fine to skip this one.
Purely as a point of interest, I’ve always pronounced “acacia” as “uh-KAY-shuh”. It was the name of a fraternity on my campus in college. It is a type of tree and a great source of tannins. I will be waiting for the Alter Ego version of this palette. I think that this will make me look sallow for sure.
I love ND pallets, my favorite is the Glam. The Yucca pallet is beautiful but I have the Artist Couture Supreme Nudes and it reminds me of that one. I really like when you compare to other pallets. You’re content is always so well structured and informative. Thanks for your content 😊
This palette is beautiful and I’m appreciative of the sparkly shades. I feel like a lot of people will want this one. I have a couple of her 5-pan shadows and I agree with you on the blending difficulties. When I have to get through rush hour traffic to get to work, I don’t have time for a 30-minute eye look.
I'm a budget girl so ND is never on my radar for purchase. I appreciate her color stories from a far. However, this pallet is truly my colors! BUT I'm still budget, I'll patiently😇 wait for Alter Egos take on this stunning pallet. And I do have similar singles and a pallet or two that contain a majority of these lovely shades. Thanks Jen, I love your take on this review.😊
Jen thanks for being the only person to pronounce Yucca correctly. For all the reasons you mentioned I still bought it. And I have all the comp palettes too. Made similar looks with Subculture and BH Avocado trying to talk myself out of it but can’t wait to get
Hi Jen! I love the looks that you created with this palette! 💕 I’m really loving the greens lately and I think the tones in this are so gorgeous. I have never had a ND palette before but I may just have to pick this one up because it is so unique! Thank you as always for your excellent videos, I learn so much! 🥰
Thanks Jen. I didn’t buy the retro glam because of the cooler shades but this one is more my style, having a warmer undertone and loving the ND formula I think this might be one of my faves from her.
Hi Jen, thanks for the video! I'd definitely like to see more of this type of content. My taste in eye shadow is stuck in the 90s - you know, boring matte brown. But I like to see how you combine and apply more vivid colors and shimmer/glitter/metallic shades. After watching several of your videos, I've started using a bit of color on the outer corner of my eyelids and a little of a bone colored shimmer shade on my inner corners. I do think it's an improvement and looks more contemporary than my old look. The secret seems to be to use a very light hand, and blend!
Hi Jen, thank you for doing this video, I enjoy watching this style of video, the Yucca pallet is just my style, with my hazel eyes and olive complexion, yes,yes this looks like a fun pallet for me,it can take me from day to night,(what fun). Love Katherine xoxo
What can I say, was love at first sight! These are my colors! Can't purchase it right now but I'll do as soon as I can! Absolutely loved it! And your looks are so pretty and wearable! Thansk for the review!!
I’m so into yellows recently (I actually just got the new tropical beauty bay palette which is incredible!) but the price is enough to put me off… I’m a drugstore girly so it’s a no from me although I can absolutely see the beauty in the colours especially the unique new finishes!x
Thank you, Jen - I think this is the best style of video for anyone wanting help in deciding whether to buy a new palette release. I will pass on it, for the Con reasons 1-3 that you listed. I really don’t have most of those colors in my wardrobe, either. They don’t suit my taste or my coloring. But I wouldn’t have been able to save myself the money if not for you, so I truly appreciate it. I look forward to more of this style of review for future palette releases. ❤
Beautiful colors. I have tons of single shadows, and I'm pretty sure i can get a very similar vibe of this pallete from my collection. I have olive skin and brown eyes, and love these colors on my eyes
Really like all three looks you did - the middle one with the contrast of pinky-coral blush and lips is a such pretty, sunny summer look! Also appreciate your comparisons with other palettes and explaining the difference with the shades and undertones. This is a unique ND color story and I really like her formula so I'm excited for it to arrive! 🌞
I finally bought it, I couldn't resist anymore, I love green eyeshadows and with this color story, is just right up my alley!! I cannot wait, I bought the green (Willow) eyeliner pencil too...I want to see what I can create with this collection!! Thank you for all the inspiration with those looks, they are amazing on you!!
This style video is fabulous! You helped me realize that this is not where I want to spend over $70. The undertones aren’t great for my fair/light neutral leaning complexion, and I have all but one of the similar palettes that you mentioned. I so appreciate the style of and honesty behind your content.
Such a helpful video. I love that color story and was feeling tempted, but I don’t enjoy her formula due to all the reasons you listed. I’m not the best at doing my eyeshadow, so I do not find this very user friendly for people like me. Shockingly enough Lorac makes one of the most user friendly eyeshadows for beginners. They are pigmented but SO easy to blend.
totally agree. olive skin, dark hair, dark eyes - neutral / warm olive. I love this palette as literally an everyday - truly all occasions for me - palette. I don't think MOST skin tones look good in this palette. "natural blondes" or non-olives look realllly ill and washed out - anyone cool (or honestly most warm toned) folks will not jive with this color story. I don't love it on you in the slightest (crazy because you are so talented at application) and I am so glad you're so clear about how this really isn't meant for "mass consumption". it is a little hard to work with so it can be time consuming to get correct, but I work from home and don't have kids or pets so I can be incredibly selfish with my time.
Your swatches are the best I’ve seen of this palette. Your descriptions are excellent too. Thank you so much for your research and effort. I am on the fence with this palette but I am such a fan of ND will probably get it. In Australia it is at Sephora for about $109 AUD. 😳
Another review you knocked out of the ballpark, way to go Jen, love the format and you doing the five reasons we should or not buy it, you are so clever and thank you for letting us know about the glitter fallout, I’m one who just can’t deal with glitter fallout anymore and especially at that price. Your 3 looks are so pretty especially the last one and I think they all looked good on your skin tone. I think your probably the only one who doesn’t go goo-goo over her pallets, love that. I have 3 of her pallets, the Glam, the Retro and the My Dream (got that one in my Beautylish Lucky Bag the year) and the ones I reach for the most are my little Essence pallets😂😂Have a blessed weekend.❤
Thank you for giving reasons on both sides! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who prefers Colourpop to Natasha Denona. I also really appreciate the Swatch comparisons!
I love that you're very 1st look included the silvery metallic so many creators I've watched demoing this palate have not used that shade and have said it doesn't really go with the pallet but you proved to them wrong lol gorgeous
These are great palette comparisons! I was excited but I am sad to see these formulas being difficult to work with. I don’t love the glitter fallout. I prep my skin so fallout sticks and can be a problem. In some cases, that fallout will continue through the day and then it’s a mess. Silicone applicators can help a formula like this.
I have two mini ND palettes and I agree with you on the formula. It takes me a lot longer to do a look because her formula is so pigmented and some of her mattes are harder to blend. I do really like the look of her new shimmer formula though! But ultimately this is a pass for me because I don't think I would get enough use out of it to justify the splurge. I really appreciate this type of review; it was very informative and well thought out!
I was really hesitating on whether to get this pallette or not. But your review has confirmed it's not for me. I wouldn't get the use out of it. Thank you for your honesty, I've subscribed now to your channel 🥰
This is such an excellent review video. Please consider keeping this style for the future! Also, I duped the Yucca palette out almost completely using my existing ND palettes of Green/Brown, Glam, Gold, Metropolis, Bronze, and Triochrome. Even just using Triochrome, Gold, and Glam, I got pretty far. I was happy with what I had at 12 shades but I reached into the others for more depth; there is some redundancy in the palette IMO so I added the colours I thought rounded it out more. If you have a handful of ND, you have this already.
Great great great, I didn't think I liked it very much at first, especially with only 5 shimmer, but nooooo jen has to show us this palette in this amazing light and now I NEED it 😂. Thank you so very much / s. 😂 jen, you are absolutely brilliant. Thank you. 😘💖😘💖😘💖😘💖😘💖😘💖
I LOVE IT! The third look especially is gorgeous. Also Jen, your hair looks so good, you look beautiful with your hair down & parted that way!! Very flattering. Thanks for sharing! This is out of my budget, but I was already planning on getting the JP Nomad palette when it is on sale next, and when I clicked on this video, I thought "that looks similar nomad palette", so I am very glad you memtioned the comparison!! I'm pretty sure I have a dark green single in my collection, to make up the difference!
Thank you so much for this video, I loved it!! The format is great. Your explanations are thorough and you did three great eye looks and tons of swatch comparisons. By far my FAVORITE Yucca palette video I have watched. Thanks for helping me make my decision on where to purchase or pass. ❤️ 👏🏽 👏🏽
Love greens on your eyes! I'll pass since I own the Juvias Tribe, Wahala pallets(which has the blue), the Melt Gemini and the Coloured Raine Safari pallet.
Thanks, Jen! I enjoyed the format of this video and loved all the looks you created. 💚 I only own a few ND minis and enjoy the formula, but I'm curious to try a midi. I like the color story of Yucca, but will probably wait for a sale, especially since I have other palettes with a similar color story, like Coloured Raine's Safari Raine, Ace Beaute's Tropical Vibes, and Oden's Eye Hela.
I am usually so entranced by ND formula and color stories. So unique. I love how she doesn’t just mimic other companies with what she puts out or repeat color stories. With hazel green eyes I decided to get this even though I have a more cool skin tone. Thanks for the thorough review. Very helpful. I love how you always show different dupes than other videos out there.
Hey Jen, I love the look you did with this ND palette for today's video. Its giving me avocado vibes. Honestly, I have never tried anything from ND because of the cost, but I would love to, someday. With that being said, tho I have the Milani gold palette that is quite similar to the Yucca palette, IMHO. I see a lot of similarities as far as the color story goes of the Yucca palette. True, the formula is different, but you can still get similar looks. I know there have been complaints about the Milani gilded palettes, but honestly, it happens to be one of my favorites to use. So if anyone is interested in saving money, they'll save about $50 or more by purchasing or using their own Milani gold palette.
I love this style of video. It really helped me weigh the pros and cons of the Empowered palette (which I did end up getting). I appreciate the swatches, too. These colors just don’t work for me and I’m not really a fan of her formula. For the price, the shadows should blend effortlessly without fallout. I’ve got a huge palette from Profusion with a much better texture, ability to blend, and about the same fallout with glitter shades. I can deal with that at the Profusion price point but it’s unacceptable, to me, at ND’s price point. Long way of saying, please keep doing these videos. I like hearing the pros and cons. Thanks for all you do!
The colors are so pretty on your eyes! ND is out of my price range but I’m drawn to these colors. Will use your looks for inspo and find similar colors from my own collection.
Great explanation I may look at ND other palettes some of her shades can be quite powdery which I prefer the smooth shimmers. Thought I would like metropolis but was just too hard to work with.
Thank you for your list of reasons why it works/doesn't. I ended up purchasing it because I definitely see myself using it in conjunction with other palettes including my other ND palettes. I have brown eyes so I definitely want to play around with it. I wonder how this would pair with the Pastel and Retro Glam, which I have. Thank you again. ❤
This was very well done and thought out. I am not going to get this. I love the three looks on you. It is pretty. I will wait to see if she does a mini with 5 pan palette. Plus too expensive for me.
This was one of your best videos!! You are the voice of reason! Thank you. I didn’t realize how sparkly the shimmers are. That is a bit much for me personally. I also am not a fan of the creamy mattes. Not that I would rule something out for having them. I have subculture and the mini gold so I am good. When you were applying it it gave me naked Wild West vibes and I have that too. You look beautiful in it! I feel like Natasha Denona has been doing a good job releasing alternating cool and warm palettes.
You look gorgeous. I definitely would love this palette, but you inspired me to "shop my stash". I recreated the first look using Juvia's Place Nomad, Coloured Raine Safari Raine & Eloise Sahara Nights. I have UD Honey, Midas Lemonade, Juvia's Place Tribe & Glamlite Dirty Martini on hand to recreate 2 & 3 soon.
The Metropolis palette is the one that looks the most alike. I’m surprise nobody’s is comparing them together. I’m definitely getting this palette. Im a sucker for muted color
All 3 looks you did with this palette are stunning on you, the best demonstrations I have seen so far. I’m on the fence with it, since I have the Gold and Bronze palettes. Both of those are my HG’s. I have the same eye color as you did, but warmer complexion.
Great video. Thank you!! I was mesmerized by the swatches on IG and was looking for someone to convince me I didn’t need it. Success. I realized that the foiled shades and Camu Camu were what was drawing me in and that’s just not enough to spend $70 on this. I know myself enough to know I won’t get that much use so it would not be a good spend. The palette is beautiful but you convinced me I don’t need it which I what I was hoping for. The look you’re wearing for the video is gorgeous.
A pass for me due to the color story and I'd rather buy Color Pop. Their formulas are quite nice and I won't feel robbed if I don't like the palette ..lol :-)
This is the first ND palette I really feel I want and might be worth the price! I have a fair yellow / olive undertone, so these shades might work well for me, and it’s true they are more unique shades.
I got to go to the states recently (I'm from Canada) and got to go to ulta, which I've only been to like 3 times. I had made a list of your recommendations and I have to say your choice of the smoke n roses palette was perfect. the shimmers??? they are so good!!
I have a Natasha Denona pallet and I agree that it can be tricky to blend the shadows!!! That’s one of the reasons I won’t buy more of her eyeshadows ❤
yes I did see the Gemini comparison...I don't have that one...lol. I thought of the Four Twenty palette because it has that vibrant yellow, an orange, the browns and a dark grungy green. the only thing it doesn't have is that pretty teal color but I guess it would be pretty difficult to find an exact match. you did a great job though finding a lot of other palettes. I always appreciate the hard work and detail you put into all your videos!!
You are the best person on UA-cam in my opinion. You are always on trend and your reviews are so thoughtful and helpful. I watch all of your videos as you are by far my favorite. I appreciate all of the hard work you put into your videos and they definitely make this makeup addicts life easier!
Jen, with so many ND releases, I would love a ND palettes ranking or walk-thrpugh right before Black Friday. I wanted to buy one of her palettes and I was in between the Bronze or the Yucca, as I´m a warm-toned woman and I can´t definitely see myself buying any of the new cool-toned releases.
I’m a neutral and colour lover and these colours are very flattering on me , so I’m severely tempted! I could do with some reasons not to splurge! I love those grungy mattes for a one and done look , with a tiny bit of highlight in the inner corners.
I am not drawn to this palette, however i have enough singles and other pallettes to create the same/similar looks. I would like a mini with that neon yellow and no golds or orange😊...great review
This palette is named after the plant, not the food...so it's pronounced "Yuck-a" not "You-ka". 🥰
The Natasha denona palette also reminded me of the : Profusion : Harvest palette!! I was wondering if you could also do a comparison between the two , to see if they’re similar? Because I am not sure which one to choose ! 😣

So, those color stories aren't for me, but it's so great to see brands thinking more inclusively!

At first, I wasn't sure if I was gonna get this palette bc of certain shades in its color story, but now I can't wait to get my hands on it 😁
Lastly, for those who are like me and can't really wear yellows or yellow leaning greens (on me, those shades make it look like I have a black eye that's not quite done healing), how I make it work is that I avoid using anything with a yellowish undertone in or above my crease and in my outer corner.
I think the baby daddy should be MELT the rust and Gemini palette are the YUCA combined
perfect description... somewhere between sunny and a bit swampy/grundge but light shades vs dak. awsome, loving it
As a mom, Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath are my self care! 😂 I don’t always have time to do great eye looks, but when I do, those are what I reach for!
So the three palettes that come to mind are:
1) Klarity Kosmetics Croc
2) Odens Eye Hella (Angelica Nyqvist collab)
3) Odens Eye Stone & Rock
It reminds me of Melt's 420 palette but with better & more shimmers.
And the new Nomad palette, Okavango Safari ^^
@@VampireHeart518 yep.
I'm totally here for the odens eye palettes! This Nd gone be a pass
We can't get the Hella palette, so it doesn't matter on that one
Jen, thank you for this detailed video. I really appreciate you taking time to include popular palettes with a similar vibe. I have 2 of the ones you mentioned (Urban Decay Naked Honey & BH Cosmetics Avocado Toast). Plus I have the ND Mini Gold. So I’m happy to watch my fave creators do looks with this palette, and this way I can “shop my stash” for a similar look. Have a great weekend!
It's really not my cup of tea.
I dont like greens or mustard colours.
I'd only use the warm browns and lighter golds.
I definitely am passing on this one personally.
I picked it up during rouge access and can’t wait to get it! 🧡💚💛
I’m really loving the greens lately and I think the tones in this are so gorgeous.
Without watching and hearing why or why not….the eye look is stunning on you!!….that immediately makes me think it’s a why I should!
You're rocking this look, Jen 😃❣️🙌
I felt a bit mean for thinking that, but yes, the shades don't suit her much.
Will probably get it on sale. Combined The Nomad and The Tribe from Juvia's today to dupe the vibe and had a lot of fun!
Your swatches are the best I’ve seen of this palette. Your descriptions are excellent too. Thank you so much for your research and effort. I am on the fence with this palette but I am such a fan of ND will probably get it. In Australia it is at Sephora for about $109 AUD. 😳
I will get mine tomorrow! I find with the cream to matte shades that stamping it on with minimal blending works best. Beautiful looks. ❌️ ⭕️
The last look is my FAVE!! Definitely loving it on you!
These are so my colors. I have a golden olive undertone and these types of colors look great on me. Plus i just love yellowy undertoned shafes.
I was really hesitating on whether to get this pallette or not. But your review has confirmed it's not for me. I wouldn't get the use out of it. Thank you for your honesty, I've subscribed now to your channel 🥰
Your eye shadow look is just gorgeous! Makes your eyes really pop!
I have 5 of Natasha's pallets. I have a huge collection myself. I absolutely love this one and the color story.
Love this video…More like this, please. You are the best🎉
Thanks for reviewing. Oh I'm just swooning over the metallic shades.
I'm grateful you're here !
Love how you broke it out for and against. Very helpful. I'll skip because the colors are not for my pale skin lol
Hi Jen, thank you for the balanced and informative review. I appreciate so much how you show similar palettes and compare swatches.
Thank you for this great review, I have brown eyes and at glance I thought this palette would look good on me but now I'm totally sure. Thanks !!
I just really noticed the yellow glass accents in your background. They are so pretty and summery
Thank you! They're electric candles from Amazon. :)
It’s so beautiful but I think it’s a pass for me. I just don’t think I’d use it enough for it to be worth it. Thanks for the detailed look!
Hey Jen,
I love the look you did with this ND palette for today's video.
I ordered this and can’t wait until this comes in! It’s gonna make my green eyes (with amber center) pop!
It kinda reminds me of the ABH subculture.
That’s the one I thought of as soon as I saw the bluish shade!!!
I compare them toward the end of the video!
@@JenPhelpsI loved that color palette…such pretty colors.
The colors are so pretty on your eyes! ND is out of my price range but I’m drawn to these colors. Will use your looks for inspo and find similar colors from my own collection.
These colors look so good on you! I just got this palette delivered today, I’m so excited to play with it!
I have the love palette and i find the cream to powder shades so hard to pick up and blend. I agree the colourpop shadows are easier to use.
This made me think of UD's Wild West, too.
I would love to see the 5 reasons why and why not with the new Cosmos palette!
With the cream to powder formula, I have found that if I just tap the color on and then blend out it works much better.
Thank you so much for comparing it to Gemini. I was looking for this. Convinces me that i don't need this.
I love the way you have your eyeshadow in this video
Hello Jen! Thank you for your honest review on this palette. I love this kind of video!
That’s one of the reasons I won’t buy more of her eyeshadows ❤
this color story reminds me of a Melt Cosmetics palette like the Four Twenty palette
I don't have that one but I compare it to Melt Gemini toward the end of the video. :)
yes I did see the Gemini comparison...I don't have that one...lol.
Aww thank you so much for the kind words! 🥰🥰🥰
Lookd nuce but I'll wait for the dupe.
Love this palette! Waiting on it to come
In! These look amazing on you, Jen!!
*You Rocked 👏🏽 This Pallet! It's A No, For Me.. I'm Going To Get A PM Pallet.. I Like, The Gold Pallet Better ✨ Thanks, For Sharing* 💯
Love the color story--no one does it better than ND--but I'll wait until Alter Ego comes out with the dupe (at a third of the price!).
I am not drawn to this palette, however i have enough singles and other pallettes to create the same/similar looks. I would like a mini with that neon yellow and no golds or orange😊...great review
