If someone follows the opinion that the one who neglects prayer is a Kāfir, then he's judging according to the evidences, but it has priority NOT to do so, because of the simple fact that THERE IS IKHTILĀF in this mas'alah. But there're cases, where a person has no excuse, except if he's intoxicated or mağnūn while committing KUFR, like the one who mocks God. Because Allah stated that clearly in the Qur'ān. So it depends. I was in the situation where I talked to a Muslim, and he mocked God while he wasn't drunk nor is he mağnūn, so it was wāğib for me to tell him, that he became KĀFIR! Later he was in a situation where the waves pulled him far away from the shore while swimming in the sea and he said he didn't have any strength anymore to hold himself above the water, so he made du'ā to Allah, that if He rescues him, he will do 'ibādah to Him. Then a a big wave came and pushed him back in direction of the shore. Now Alhamdulillah he prays

I think the most dangerous verse of Qur'an is where Allah clearly says 'And keep praying salah and don't be among the mushriqeen'. Salam you can still pray but you have to make adjustments. For example you see old people praying while sitting down. Please speak with a knowledgeable person on what you can do to move forward. Because salah is your key to success.

I really dont believe that not praying out of laziness makes one a kafir , before the time of muhammad s.a.w. till adam there were probably very lazy muslims who didnt pray the daily prayers obviously and theyre muslims but now after muhammad s.a.w. All these muslims that believe in allah but are just very lazy persons and praying 5 times aday its obviously not very easy to do let alone in the masjid let alone for a lazy person so he will go to hell forever but a lazy muslim at the time of jesus he goes to paradise ?
