Nice video, good selection! Been to most of them and they are all great. My favourite one has to be the market in Cologne. While I find it a bit too busy and commercial, the background (Kölner Dom) is magical and second to none. Other Christmas markets I find worth mentioning are Aachen, Esslingen am Neckar, Stuttgart and Essen. ❤
I am a resident of Erlangen (An area under Greater Nürnberg along with Fürth), yesterday only I have visited the Christmas Market at Nürnberg it feels awesome with foods, drinks and the hymns and carols. In short it's awesome. And I wish Merry Christmas to everyone.
holy Christ(literally) that looks gorgeous. I need to experience that with my family. I happened to be in Germany during Octoberfest and that was great but this is something else. Those sausages look incredible.
What a nice list! You visited so many lovely Christmas Markets! ❤ We visited the Harz this month an can highly recommend the Christmas Markets and events there, too (e.g. Wernigerode). 🥰
Frankfurt pricing of goods: Small pommes (fries): 4.5 Euro Glühwein (hot rot/white wein): 4 Euro Small brötchen mit sausage (hotdog): 4.5 Euro Carousel: 10 Euro 3 rides. Family of 4 can spend app. 35-50 Euro per night.
The christmas market at Ravennaschlucht in black forest is unarguably the most beautiful christmas market. It looks like straight out a fairy tale with snow on mostof the days. Unfortunately they are open only on weekends.
Save yourself the crowds in Köln and go to Aachen instead. Good food, Aachener Printen, and a very beautiful locale. On Saturdays they even have the Turmbläser that play Advent Songs.
Well done, DW 😉 Being at the Bremen Christmas market you'd only shown the smallest part of it at the Market place in front of the Town Hall, which is the historical one. The most of the Bremen Christmas market is along the river Weser, including a medieval Christmas market as well.
I'm happy you also show christmas markets in North Germany, especially my hometown Bremen. :) BUT (hey, I'm german - I have to complain) you didn't mentioned the unique pirates christmas market next to the river Weser, not far away from the central christmas market! It's some kind of a medieval christmas market but with pirates - really beautiful and a funny place to be.
You forgot Frankfurt, one of the oldest (1393) and one of the largest. The decorated stands are a treat too. Stuttgart, Mainz, and Esslingen should be on this list too.
the list is ok but i think hamburg christmas markets are also should be on the list the rathaus market of hamburg for sure and aachen christmas markets also
There's also a very nice medieval-market in Esslingen near Stuttgart
Oh yes, Esslingen is really beautiful - at every season... and it's Christmas market is magical
Magical Germany! The originators of the christmas market!
Frohe Weihnachten

Thanks for sharing
This is fantastic! 😍🤩
You missed the fairground in Berlin - also a weird tradition we have in Berlin
All too city ish try the black forest and the Revenna Gorge
Nurnberg ist number1
Bernkastel-Kues has a killer small Weihnachtsmarkt.
Trier Weihnachtsmarkt has the best food!
Love the hot wine in South Germany and Vienna.

It's so beautiful, someone please takes me there.
👼
I really missed Braunschweig and Quedlinburg Christmas markets in this list! Otherwise a great selection.
Awesome coverage! I wish I could visit all of them and film them. Instead of just a few that I’ve covered on my channel.
You need to come to Stuttgart. It's one of the oldest markets and the most interesting.
Well done, DW 😉

Medieval AND pirates. :D

If you want to see the ones not for tourists but for locals - welcome to my channel.

There are just too many to mention. ;)

We are currently shooting at Hamburg's christmas market! Check out our episode on December 24th! 🙂
Those little brats are the best! Thankfully they were common in Bavaria when I was there and I ate my weight in them!
No Munich? Seriously? Otherwise a very enjoyable video. But in my opinion, you overlooked the best. ;-)
Good to know. Maybe this year.
Awesome! My wife and I will be there from the 12th to the 21st. ;-) This will be our 5th trip since 2016.
❤❤❤
In Köln ist es so voll am Abend, da kommst du gar nicht durch
I live 7 minutes away from the one in Nürnberg. 😊
How many days does it take to do all these markets
And as always the one from Braunschweig is missing!
😍😍😍😍😍
Der Weichnachmarkt des Rothenburg ob der tauber ist besser als die in Nueremberg
You should pay goslar a visit.
Mashallah!
It's Christmas not Xmas
You're right. But too long for the thumbnail 💁
It would've been awesome if all food was vegan. Maybe one day. 😌🙌🏻💜
disliked for removing Christ from Christmas.
Pray Isaiah 61:4 over Germany and Europe for the revival of their churches.
That's not a political statement. Just to shorten it for the thumbnail.
