    Applied for ms in data science, good funds 35+ lakh, pte 76, 9 gpa college, but got refusal due to non sense reason saying not pursuing previous studies, as I did mechanical in bachelors but got into IT company and worked on almost 2 year for aiml domain so got interested in this filed and made my mind to pursue in this filed but officer rejected it don't know why do they guys do this am I dumb to do master in mechanical engineering instead of data science after having professional experience. Also rmit didn't help me with that as I raised concern that if course was the case with officer than why did you guys gave me un conditional offer in just 5 days,, I also got ms in data science un conditional offer from monash university in 3 days. I think they are cutting because many apply to this course but they are loosing genuine student by this.

    Please let me know that is data science is an PR oriented program or not

    • @KapsLockVlogs
      @KapsLockVlogs  3 місяці тому

      Data science is generally considered a PR (Permanent Residency) oriented program in Australia for several reasons:
      1. Skill Shortage: Data science skills are in high demand across various industries in Australia, which can facilitate pathways to permanent residency through employer-sponsored visas or skilled migration programs.
      2. Occupation Lists: Data scientists often appear on skilled occupation lists, which are used for immigration purposes to determine eligibility for skilled visas.
      3. Points for PR: Data science qualifications and experience can contribute significantly to points-based immigration systems, such as Australia’s points-based Skilled Independent (subclass 189) visa, which is a common pathway to PR.
      4. Industry Demand: With the increasing importance of data-driven decision-making in businesses and government sectors, the demand for skilled data scientists is expected to remain strong, enhancing job prospects and PR opportunities.
      5. Further Education: Graduates of data science programs can pursue further education or advanced studies in related fields, which can also enhance their employability and PR prospects.
      It’s advisable to check the latest updates from the Department of Home Affairs or consult with a migration agent for specific advice tailored to your situation and goals. If you have more questions, feel free to ask! DM me on Instagram at [kapslock_jpb](instagram.com/kapslock_jpb/).
