I mean, rock and metal have a more consistent global appearance unlike pop or jazz it is less influenced by local culture and moves more on a global scale

Jazz, Bozza Nova, Latin Jazz, Fusion, Smooth Jazz, Bob "Post ect", Gypsy Jazz, Smooth Jazz and so on.
Jazz from the US, Latin America, Europe, Asia, especially Japan, that genre is so damn diverse and is consistent since the 40s....
Also, Djent and Prog Metal wouldn't exist without Jazz, Pentatonic styles, Rythm Change ect all of that had and has a huge influence in Metal, Heavy Metal and Extreme Metal. Also, and especially, like said before Djent. And not to forget Math Rock and Metal.
Jazz is the soul that makes the Metal heart dance.

Secondly metal is much more an attitude and timbre than a style, despite what ppl might make you think, bc metal is at the end of the day everything that is sufficiently extreme and distorted
I know abt jazz, it’s offshoots. But let’s not forget that one of the biggest influences for both jazz and metal is the Blues, and yes mathrock and djent have much influence from jazz, but a lot of folkmetal hs traditional influence and goth has influences from classical music. Just bc a subgenre has influences from a certain genre does not mean the entire genre is dependant on that thing. I will concede that both started with a heavy spirit of freedom. Also rhythm changes are not exactly a very jazzy innovation, if you are going to take examples at leastt come with something that actually originates from jazz (like the blast beat)
At the end of the day what I mean is that jazz is always different through its very nature, whilst metal is always the same through its very nature. Jazz constantly moves within songs themselves with such heavy emphasis on improv whilst metal is just anything sufficiently distorted and extreme. And somehow metal is the same in pretty much all places bc it pulls not from being an insanely talented musican (like jazz) but from emotion (think the weird grunts/growls/screams) like punk whilst the musicians happen to be good
What's gonna happen when you become too famous for people to just walk past you without stopping for a picture or autograph? I'd hate for that to be too much to let you do your videos in this format! They are awesome
