First thing I would recommend if you play this piece in a concert setting, is this. 1. Don't play it on a .547 with a 5G to 6 1/2 Al mouthpiece. This piece was composed by Tommy Dorsey FOR Tommy Dorsey, who played a King 2B trombone with the equivalent of a Bach 15C mouthpiece. Not saying you have to use his setup, but such a large horn is not apprpiate. 2. Its not a classical sonata, DO NOT be afraid to swing the eighths, and really pop out the triplets. -------> continued.
3. Listen to the source, and understand the style. You understand the basic style of this piece, and you are obviously a fantastic trombonist , but really research this. Just as you would listen to Joe Alessi or Jorgen van Rijen play Bue Bells, listen to Tommy Dorsey play this. Notice the tone, so warm and so buttery , yet so different from modern classical trombone. All around fantastic playing though, I just think more trombonists need to understand and be proficient in many idioms and styles
wow!!! that was the bes I heard from you! I know you from Brno competition!!! You have new instrument! Which do you have? And the mouthpiece is Schilke? it looks like it...what are you planning to play after hollidays? (I think you have holliydays...

Great effort. I also think that a smaller horn and mouthpiece would be more appropriate. Very good performance however.
