Actually hyper sonic was planned to fight with the end, he was going to change his emeralds to super emerald by the help of the 2 chaos like entities but sega scrapped this idea
Yeah ngl, this is heat. I'm going to be completely honest here. I was kinda expecting Hyper Sonic to be in the 3rd Sonic Frontiers update mainly because Hyper Sonic doesn't really appears in any Sonic game so I assumed that he was gonna be in it but yeah. Overall, nice job Splitz.

Honestly, SEGA should listen to the fanbase for once, the potential for Hyper Sonic to return with this story is so close, it's almost disgusting (I know, a bit strong) that they haven't brought it back, and the crappy answer they gave at the question asked for why they haven't brought it back certainly doesn't help This animation is awesome though, the Anime Intros by Thai have always been the GOAT, and it's always a W when somebody uses it in an animation
This was a solid short animation. Although I’m just going to say it. I understand a lot of people want Hyper Sonic back, I really do. However, I don’t really see a reason for SEGA or Sonic Team to bring that form back. Especially since it’s not much different from the Super Form.
@@splitzer-fk4qb yes, but do not forget that this is just a teaser. Perhaps Sonic is just beginning his transformation. It reminded me of the Sonic RPG where Super Sonic's eyes also changed from red to blue before he became Hyper Sonic.
