Hi Good Day Tutor, just to clarify with you : the punching shear check should only be checked at the column stiff area, or should also inclusive of those 4 piles like shown in your video? Usually only check for the more critical area here which is this column loaded-around with the concentrated forces, but not those piles beneath? Thanks Sir.
Hi, punching shear final change is for pile is 1.09 and column is 0.7, seem like the column with big load from above should be bigger than pile, why there is the column value smaller than pile? pls advice

May be your column size is bigger than pile size and also perimeter is bigger then pile.
Its depends on perimeters of the pile and column.
