I gives mad...MAD props to the people running along side the firecrackers...lighting them by hand and re lighting them if needed...hope they were wearing some sort of hearing protection...they must have adamantium balls...
I can tell you that some of those people are near the firecrackers just for fun and not for lighting them up. It's a traditional crazy thing, just like in Spain people do with Bulls.
Hi! I'm from San Severo It's our tradition! They're called Fujenti (literally "people who run"). In this video there were just a few but in the city they're a lot more! They run next the fireworks and usually put double layers of clothes and earplugs I would say they're more dangerous than the fireworks tbh
well... yes! :) of course the last part was fired electronically, but the batteria (the long lines of firecrackers..) are lit by hand. You don't see this in the video, but there are always a few people with torches, running with the batteria. If it goes out at some point, they can re-light it right away!
Muito bom... Uma parte eu achei engraçado quando um pessoal correu pro lugar errado e os fogos deu uma surra kkkkkk Parabéns pra todos que tiveram essa ideia!!!
Serious question - can somebody explain the difference between this and traca valenciana&mascleta, I couldn’t really understand from the video but I feel like they are similar... right?
I will try to explain it briefly, although there is a lot to say: The italian "batteria" originates from the spanisch "mascleta", in which a "traca" is usually shot right at the beginning of the show. A "traca" and a string of "batteria" are quite similar: it is made with quickmatch (paper-tubes with blackmatch inside), every foot or so, a small flash-bang is put on the fuse, this interrupts the super-fast burning of the quickmatch. While a "traca" only has (small) flashpowder bangs, a "batteria" often contains flash + titanium + micro-stars (often leftovers from the production of stars). So, a "batteria" can have very big salutes and is constructed a bit differently than the "mascleta": It is a continuous single string of blackmatch - while in a mascleta, several lines of match will burn at the same time. Also, the salutes from a mascleta are often designed to drop to the ground (with a pre-burner/delay) and then explode - on a italian "batteria" the (bigger) salutes are fixed with a string, so that they explode immediatly in mid-air. Both "batteria" and "mascleta" can contain aerial fireworks, like mines, shells and other types of pyrotechnics - it can get really creative and they both can be shot during the day AND during the night. The most important thing is the rhythm they create. Also, in some cases you can get very close to a batteria (and run along side!), while a mascleta is often confined to a certain space (a main plaza or so). The "batteria" can travel a long distance, like several streets, before reaching its finale.
141 - Fireworks, Art & Music this is literally the perfect explanation thank you so much I really appreciate it - I was lucky enough to experience several mascletàs (and several sizes, street mascletàs to massive vertical one) but I still have like million questions 😅 I’d ask a few more but I wouldn’t want to waste your time - so yeah thanks once again for the reply :-)
Ancient Pyro - falls Du das liest (ich kann dir nicht direkt antworten, update mal deinen channel ^^) der Track hießt "Run" und ist in der UA-cam music library zu finden, bei den tools im YT studio...
