I have that hot dog toaster. I think it was a wedding gift? It actually works pretty well. Toasts your buns perfectly, except the part that sticks out. The hot dogs cook thoroughly. It's actually kinda cool.
Also, you're supposed to remove the tongs. They're not a lifter for the hot dog tray. I didn't even know that thing came out. You use the tongs to get the hot dogs out.
