- Christine and I gave Beach Metal Detecting another go in December! This time we visited Huntington Beach, California and although targets were far and few between it was a decent day!
A beautiful day to be at the beach with 70 degree weather in December!

Hi guys! how's it going? not too bad of a hunt today, the ring was nice. I wish I was there instead of here right now. We had snow last night got about 5 inches of that awful white stuff and very cold here, in the 20's. I'm jealous that you got 70 degree weather. You're lucky. The little fire engine was cute and the car. Christine, give Buddy a kiss for me and I hope you're knee is feeling better. Take care guys. Catch you in the next one.

What a gorgeous day at the beach in December! A good friend used to live a mile from that beach but she never went there. I never could understand it but perhaps if she had a metal detector, she might have been down there all the time. I loved the dog bone 🦴 and I think it is from a charm bracelet. The jump ring was missing so that is probably how it detached. Of course, it could have been hanging from “Cooper’s” dog collar. I think you should place it on Buddy’s collar to ward off dogs.

Bill, on the last video you asked which was better, beach or tot lots. I think the tot lots/grass have better finds for you, but it sure is nice as a viewer seeing this beautiful beach view.

Idk if you're aware of "cuts" but they can be very lucrative to detect! At 8:11 you can see how the beach cut away the sand. Hunt just under that ledge can be very rewarding. Not sure a lead necklace is a good idea...
