For a moment I thought the presenter was saying that he finds his own name boring and dull, lol. About the video, it could be named with something race related... Paddock Talk, Monthly Highlights, IDK, I suppose you guys will find something like that.
Cost and structure. The cost of constant server hosting/maintenance across multiple continents with minimal latency is a huge gamble with no immediate payoff. Also, AMS2 handles servers/connections completely differently than iRacing.
@flyingphoenix113 I hear you, however they could charge a monthly fee and say its half the price of iRACING I think you will be surprised at the amount of people that will sign up. I love these two titles but the online racing is pretty dead unless ypu are in a league which i cant be because of work commitments. This is why iracing wins for me.
@@waynemcmurray8405 I have thought the same thing multiple times, but also I think using the madness engine hinder them on the multiplayer side. They are dealing with bugs and problems that have been in there since PC2, and who knows maybe some of them require to rewrite the engine itself from the root.
What surprises me the most isn't that your name is René (no offence intended) but it's that you admit to being a fan of Nascar. You hail from the land of F1, WRC, the Dakar, MotoGP and I could go on and on... but Nascar? Seriously? Anyway, great format you guys have here with a monthly magazine, great first episode. Looks like Reiza's planned releases alone ought to justify having a monthly programme. Thanks for this, looking forward to these. Just subscribed.
I like a lot of different racing but for whatever reason, I really got into NASCAR the last 2-3 years. Watched the races (Bristol last season, incredible) and even went hard into iRacing NiS. I think it was just because I really wanted to explore a new world and a new style of racing (since NASCAR is so different in terms of setting up an overtake etc.) so yeah.. I consider myself a fan by now :) - Rene

And I'm guilty of playing the great Nascar 2003 back in the day pretty much all the time, as it was a great sim for the day - and to this day still, as there some very dedicated folks keeping it alive. It's a shame the modern Nascar series is so underwhelming.
talking about the WRC DLC update without noticing the (promised before and once more after release) lack of triple screen support? This gives me the feeling that overtake is focust to much on the devs and company's instant of the viewers and community. You know this is a hot sim racing topic. Its on you guys to kindly remind EA over and over again that we are still waiting on this promised future!
Lets be honest, this will not happen anymore. And did any Codemasters title ever supported Triples in either of their titles? You are right though, but for that reason the topic kinda disappeared from my radar. -Michel
What is your issue? I found a hotfix in case it will reset every time you start the game. Manually edit the file for triple settings in your documents folder and set it to read only afterwards. -Michel
@ if you have a 4 monitor setup and dont use nividia surround you have to unplug the top monitor to get it to run properly which is ridiculous imo.. haven’t touched ams 2 since i got off Nvidia surround because of it

I just dont understand why titles like AMS2 and RACEROOM don't come out with a proper online system, something similar to iRacing.

AMS2 is already on low fuel Motorsport and Raceroom announced in the December they will be too

Are there coming releases on the PS5? (ea WRC dlc, but full game?)
