Can’t say I’ve ever collected clematis seeds although had some self seeders.....particularly the Montana species.
It should probably be noted that the particular seeds you harvested in this video are not viable seeds that will grow. They have to be fertilized and have a mature head at the end of the fuzzy tail.
I wonder if those would grow in Texas.
They love “hot sunshine” but “cool feet”. They don’t normally grow above usda zone 8/9.
“She’s a mad gardener” is another great channel more local to you. She’ll probably have more insight into what could grow for you.
