Your notes on the style stones are fantastic. I typically vendor most sets blue and below, and only decon when there's a good Style Stone get. My reference for at-a-glance deconning: In Vvardenfell, the Hlaalu set is Defiler's In Clockwork City, the Apostle sets are Mad Tinkerer and Livewire In Northern Elseweyr, the Anequina sets are Darloc Brae and Undertaker In Murkmire, the Elder Argonian sets are Champion of the Hist and Bright-Throat's Boast Dwemer Frame has a few relevant furnishing plans, and in addition to refining from random mob/urn drops, it can be extracted from Darkshade Caverns: Strength of the Automatons. It's old content and nowhere near as valuable as the others, particularly since you gather it passively in any Dwemer ruin. One more small footnote: Dragon Bone is a provisioning ingredient and gets a couple thousand apiece, from all Fang Lair gear. While a bit out of place since you're discussing deconning trash, Culanda Lacquer is notable as a furnishing style stone. It doesn't have a dropped set to decon, but is valuable and comes from a Summerset daily.
Ah yes, Dragonbone is a great one, I like to hang onto mine until October, when the witches’ festival takes place - their value skyrockets. Last year I was selling them for 30k each! I also forgot to mention “arkthzand sprockets”, they come from the akrthzand style gear (Radiant Bastion - from The Reach) Thanks for the in-depth reference for where to get each style of gear (:
UA-cam recommendations are hit or miss but boy was this a hit! You get straight to the point with great explanations. Glad I found your channel. Keep it up!

Idk why this showed up in my recommendations but it is the easiest Sub in my life XD I'm a returning player and I have to catch up to a lot of systems.
Oh believe me, I’ve been playing daily for the past three years, and this new update has me so lost what with the cp changes and all, so I feel that haha Thanks for the sub! 😁
Hey thanks a lot for the dragonguard tip never knew about that! Also what parts do you use to make your character look like that? BTW the messages that you leave us are top tier)
I'm surprised to hear that so many people did not know about the dragonguard chest! I forgot to mention that it also has the chance to drop New Moon Priest motifs! I am actually using a costume in this video! It is the "Treethane Ceremonial Dress". It is an old, discontinued costume, but ZoS brings it back to the crown store for a limited time every year or so! (:
Awesome content Arttea.. also, I have always wanted that costume your wood elf is wearing and didn't know it had been available at some point (saw it on an npc). Hopefully will come across it some day too. Off to passively make some gold :)
Yo I had no idea about the dragon guard supply. I’ll have to go do that quest line for the 5th time on my 7th toon lol. And though it’s not much, I usually pick up poisons and stack them up to sell. Easy to acquire and easy to forget. After a while, boom ya got almost 500 poisons only taking up 3 slots. Good money when you forget about it lol. But my main way has been the scrying and digging. I can duplicate furniture for symmetry in the house and get some good gold in the process. Good vid!
Once you max a craft on one character roll a character to like lv8 and start sending you decon and junk to them. Repeat. Put points into hirelings and stop there. Do the lowbie daily writs only on your non crafter toon, do the highest level daily writs on your crafter. You'll be swimming in materials in no time, which means you can sell them easily for okay money plus the chance at rare stuff and the pay out for the daily missions across multiple characters is good. This I find is a good way to start making some money and a good start for alts you may want in the future.
Yes doing your daily writs is a great way to earn gold and accumulate mats, especially as a newer player that doesn't have as many options for making gold. A buddy of mine makes all of his gold just from selling the mats that he gets from doing writs on several toons each day and he is very well off! The thing with writs though is that you have to dedicate a fair amount of time to do them (especially on multiple characters, like I am doing right now during the jesters festival aaaghh) which can be a bit of a turn off for some players that may not want to spend an hour each day at the crafting stations lol But I do agree with you - if you don't mind doing so, I'd absolutely recommend the daily writs!
@@Arttea i consider this a long term investment if you plan on playing the game for a decent amount of time. while i do agree this is rather time intensive, especially if you have strict time limits, the time can be reduced considerably by also having a few pointers... 1. food writs and potion writs can be pre completed. they are set on what they will ask for at each level so as long as your doing the lowest level ones and the highest level ones you can prep your pots and food/drink on one crafter who has the make multiple ones skill learned and just make a crap ton(i keep a full stack of each in my bank) and take what you need as needed. saves a metric ton of time, not having to figure out mixes and what not. 2. park your alts in summerset. the boards are close to the turn in area and the bank is not a bad distance if need be. 3.ESO+. the benefits are so good if you can afford it. 4. look up the crafter addons. the name escapes me right now but once it is set up it will autocomplete all your writs when you walk up to a crafting station or access the bank, will automatically grab what is needed out of the bank. this drastically drops the time investment down. like i said this is a longer term plan and i do agree that the investment is time intense, especially when considering the amount of champion points/xp/ap/stones/other currencies there are to farm in game but wasting like 20m to an hour can pay off massively for longer term players. anyway good vid still. id recommend all the stuff you did to a newer player.
I totally agree, it's a great money-maker, I just did not include it in this video because the video focused primarily on making money "passively" :) I definitely do plan on making a video about "actively" making gold as well, and that will definitely include things such as doing daily writs on a bunch of toons, flipping items from guild stores, farming materials etc. Thank you for all of the insights, I am sure the newer viewers will greatly appreciate them :)

So do I! All three beats that I used in this video were made by Yusei! Their Channel: ua-cam.com/channels/2UL6SD7NG6fnvDXB36r7Nw.html They create really neat free-to-use songs, which is super nice as a content creator looking to not get copyright-strikes! :')
Haha I am not, I am sure that my amateur knowledge and lack of proper econ terminology may make that slightly apparent in some of my videos ;p I just am interested in the ESO market and being rich in-game (:
My video demonstrates how you can make gold passively (as a by-product, if you will) while actively playing other parts of the game that aren't related to gold making, like doing your undaunted pledges, or pvping with some friends! Imagine actually playing ESO eh? ;p
Gathering is not passive. The purpose of gathering is either crafting or selling. Perhaps you need to learn the tru meaning of passive. That is to do nothing. Take no action. The opposite of passive is action.
@@Arttea I did watch the video and now you freely admit you know what passive means. So you are basically confessing to clickbait! I definitely need to update it a little bit for this patch, but a build video on all of my bow/bow setups could be fun :D
@@Arttea yes please
Can i sell gold for real money because i have 5mill i wanna get rid of because i don't play anymore
Selling gold for real money is actually against the TOS. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll decide to come back to ESO, and maybe then you’ll be glad you didn’t get rid of your gold 😅
Love the music
So do I! All three beats that I used in this video were made by Yusei!
Their Channel:

They create really neat free-to-use songs, which is super nice as a content creator looking to not get copyright-strikes! :')
Out of curiosity are you a Econ major?
Haha I am not, I am sure that my amateur knowledge and lack of proper econ terminology may make that slightly apparent in some of my videos ;p I just am interested in the ESO market and being rich in-game (:
Here before 600 subs 😸
Woah, nightblade legend in my comment section?! owo
@@Arttea haha I’m still unheard of , believe me !!
Love it
I don’t actually sell any mats I get from running surveys, I use too many of them lol lol
I know the feel 😅
7:22 so true
Not enough botany shade!
The only passive method I see here thats passive are hirelinks. Rest of them are not passive
You're right, gathering is not passive, it is active, that's literally what I said in the video lmao. Perhaps you need to watch the video ;p
@@Arttea I did watch the video and now you freely admit you know what passive means. So you are basically confessing to clickbait! Because in the video one of your “5 ways” is to gather and you just admitted gathering is not passive. So tyvm for stating you have done clickbait here. That tells me that you knew you were doing it and that your being a sleaze ball. Not will now go block you so I never see your clickbait again. Goodbye!
I never titled this video 5 ways? I also never talked about gathering mats as a form of passive income? I peeped your channel, and that + your comments here leads me to believe that you must be on the good stuff lmao :’)
@@Oncewasgolden quit being a douchenozzle. By passive, she literally says something to the effect of "get gold while doing other stuff". Or to put it in simple terms, JUST FOR YOU, "Ways to earn gold by doing things you may ALREADY be doing".
