This is the first tune I learned to play and is still a favourite. There are so many ways it can be played: as a waltz, as a Morris dance or a session tune but I love the "solemnity" of this version, coupled with the interesting slight variation from what we normally hear. Maybe that's the Scandinavian influence. But whatever, it's beautiful. @@Edvinaronson
@@oldpigsqueal3578 I don’t play that many scandinavian tunes actually, but maybe the scandi style has affected my playing since I’m from here. I’m not sure 😄 Glad you enjoyed it anyways!
That's great ! You're very prolific these days !! And by the way, I based myself on your great version of Guinness Waltz to teach it to one of my students. Thank you. :)
Love this speed. I've always played this way too fast and this just sounds so much better. Love the ascending bass motif!
I know this as a dancer, a morris dancer. Love this version. Thank you.
Thank you so much 🙏🏻

If you're ever looking for another tune, may I suggest that Michael Turner's waltz would benefit from your treatment?
@@oldpigsqueal3578I’ll look it up 😃 Always in need of more good tunes. Thank you 🙏🏻
