One query, does enhance survey programme start from delivery day of vessel?
It is calculated from the first flag state inspection and certification.... Then carried out on the dates of renewal surveys
Thank you!!!
Thank you Chris! I am glad you found it useful!
What are the survey requirements for an oil tanker undergoing 3rd special survey?
Hi good day sir , have a doubt after the survey has been completed which document is endorsed saying esp survey has been completed .
the ESP survey report with its findings and action steps is the strongest indicator of a completed survey. It signifies the official closure of the data collection and analysis phase.
Why only bulk carrier and oil tankers?
Enhanced Survey Program (ESP) is specifically for tankers and bulk carriers because these ships face higher risks of structural failure due to their design, cargo type, and operation. Tankers carry hazardous liquids, while bulk carriers often handle heavy cargoes that exert high loads, making detailed inspections crucial for detecting potential structural weaknesses early.
