I was confused by his accent in Eternals, it sounded like he was trying to do an American accent but slipped into Irish from time to time. That being said, I absolutely loved the character and thought it was well casted. Wish they had shown more fight scenes of his because when he was fighting the deviant it was badass.
For a bit of I thought he had a Eastern Europe till the scene were he leaves
in another interview, he said that the scene actually lasted longer but it was cut short, gotta hope for a director's cut
I'm betting there'd be more of druig fight scenes in upcoming marvel movies

@@l4wrnx463 Just checked the soon to be releasaed dvd and steelbooks, there are 4 deleted scenes which are mostly just dialogues and sadly, none of them seems to involved Druig. :(

After having watched it twice already, I can strongky confirm that this is still true for me.
The fact he is getting more famous now makes me happy excited but also sad. Because many actors turn Into assholes once the fame hits them I really hope Barry stays humble. I got to meet him at tiff 3 years ago nicest guy so sweet and humble. Chatted with us for few minutes too. So lovely to see him doing great. Working with Christopher Nolan, chloe, and now He is joker in Batman that’s crazy!

In one interview, he says his friends back in Ireland keep him humble and grounded. They even call him “Hollywood” at the pubs.
English isn't me first language and sometimes it 's difficult to understand people with strong accents but for some reason I still like Irish accent, and Scottish too

Barry's hair lighther here. I remember it being really dark in eternals, Dunkirk, killing of a sacred deer etc
He has been filming a movie during the press tour for eternals therefore why he wasn’t with the cast at many cities they all went for press. For his new film different hair style and colour.
You watch him in American animals with Evan Peters. Great film! Barry has blonde hair in it

I've noticed that his accent in interviews ranges from strong Dublin to Dublin mixed with Limerick and Sligo-coming from someone who is from Dublin with hints of Sligo in my own
He kinda Reminds me of Tommy Shelby.

You know very well he was speaking English. His accent was nice. I appreciated the fact he was allowed to keep it and not have to Americanize himself. Also Salma Hayek is fantastic.
