I was wondering how your overall was so much higher but I see it now, lusting tree trash and dotting smallies as they are gathered helps a lot for psychic link dmg. Most of my groups were going bridge and lusting that first, then going smaller on the tree trash after crawth
@@skimmynz really? The primordial ring does like 7-8% of total damage. Is shadow priest really that stat depended that you skip some good primo stones for a ring with stats?

@@autumnsphere7581 Be careful with what you wish for. Being able to cast your instants during channels means your damage will be balanced around doing so. You will have no instants to cast while moving without damage loss.

During Slands we had that version of Spriest and I really hated the plant and cast version. There were many people who complained about the lack of mobility and it got changed. Imagine playing that in Dragonflight when you spent 50% of the fight time dodging swirlies.
Can you please tell me why you sometimes use Devouring Plague over Mind Sear when there's 3+ targets? In order to cast Void Torrent as soon as possible without capping on insanity? Sorry for the noob question Just reached max level

Make sure every target has VT active for Psychic Link. Void Torrent as often as possible for big dam and insanity generation. Spam Mind Blast to fish for Mind Devourer procs. Use Mind Spike procs during movement, hardcast when everything else is on CD and need to build insanity.

The hardest part of being a shadow priest is actually getting into the keys, smashing everyone for damage is the easy part ;). Although there is a part of my that's jealous, its nice to see a shadow priest blasting a higher level keys.
Dominate mind has a couple of use cases. You can keep adds MC'd to be able to pull bigger (ie thundercallers in hov), use it as a safety if interupts are failed or group needs to stabilize. First boss nokhud you can MC the add to stop it from destroying balista (dont do the first one though as it will destroy it once released, so you'd have to reapply MC in that case). As mentioned earlier, you can MC spitefuls to get the group out of combat faster etc.

Hey dude bit of an off m+ related question but does the feather trinket scale with mastery? I assume not though.
Our mastery doesn't affect trinkets but ragefeather scales with versatility

Thanks mate, not that I'm aware of - although you can tab target to them, or use weakauras/plater profiles to make them easier to select

Yeah, usually dps take over when the healer has to focus during a demanding pull

Why are you manually dotting up in that first pull instead of just using shadow crash?
Also why is shadow crash not applying dots onto small tree adds when you first used it?
Shadow crash is capped at 8 mobs so no you can’t just use shadow crash on it

Lariat and Weapon are great value. If you have enough sparks, craft whatever will give you the biggest ilvl boost
Crazy damage, I'm getting into shadow myself on my priest but I have seen so many higher ranking priests opt our of Mind Sear, thoughts on that?
Tried it a few times in the smaller dungeons like TJS, COS and SBG. Don't mind it, just requires a bit more focus to play well.

i see all these sps copying eachother using dominate mind, but when is this shit used? never seen anyone use it :D and when id id.. it was horrible :p

what are your stats? how the hell do you pull so much dps. i basically do the same rotations but pull not nearly as much.
Stats are at the start of the video. Depends on a lot of factors like pull size, cd timing and gcd usage
