Very cool informational video. I have been to Garmisch as well as the Edelweiss countless times and I had never heard of the Pflegersee before. I will surely check this out, however, I am not getting into any body of water with attack snakes lol lol. I know that the Eibsee has snakes as well but I always have my eyes open. I am a Florida boy that loves to swim and I always have my eye open for alligators and snakes lol. Thanks for the video, Daniel. :).

I should qualify to go there this week (90% now and the VBA invited me to apply for 100% TDIU) if I qualify we WILL be going next year for one of the retirees retreats to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. Hey there! Thanks for your support! We are not in the military (anymore), but my wife is a teacher for the Army base so we qualify for military benefits such as staying at Edelweiss. I hope you guys can qualify, a 50th Anniversary celebration would be LOVELY in the German alps :)

Can you recommend a coffee with WIFI ? Also can you walk from Edelweiss to the city center of Garmish? (I’m ok with 40 minutes walk. Thank you!
Actually I can. Wildkaffee has GREAT coffee, but not 100% sure on the wifi. The walk to downtown from Edelweiss is about 35mins 👍🏾
