Susan was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL woman. She and the super gorgeous Jeffrey Hunter made quite a beautiful couple on Star Trek. R.I.P. to the beautiful Susan Oliver.
Throughout the 1960s and '70s, whenever quality TV dramas needed a strong "Special Guest Star," casting directors contacted Susan Oliver. She always delivered!
I remember her vividly. And, for me, she went quietly into that good night. One of those famous, but not so famous, faces we saw and quickly forgot. RIP dear.
Wow, that just blew me away!!! Never realized she was, THAT famous. And all those TV shows, as part of her career. Plus being, the 'green girl', too!!! I've seen this woman in TV and films, my whole life, and not thought twice, about it. She was ALSO, in a Hammer horror picture, 1967's, 'The Deadly Bee's'.
As a young boy watched her in so many re-runs...I saw her and thought how beautiful she was, even when she was in the green skin tone on a Star trek episode....so, so beautiful with her crystal blue eyes...❤❤
Excellent video! Very beautiful woman. She was reportedly a heavy smoker; that may have contributed to her contracting cancer. There’s a documentary of her life, titled “The Green Girl”. It’s on my list to watch.
That hospital she died in is a hospital where the famous people go when they have no more money. Helen Reddy also died there when I first read about that hospital. I was very sad. She was very beautiful and Helen Reddy had the most beautiful voice rest in peace ladies.
She was a heavy smoker and died young from it. Between 1950 and 2000, 20 million Americans died from smoking related illnesses. She was a real talented beauty, what a shame to die so young from such an horrible addiction.
I recall seeing her on many different TV shows in the 60's, and really do not associate her with any show in particular. Attractive, thought she had a bit of a stern feeling in some roles I recall. Did not know about the flying thing and she died so young.
I remember her on a lot of TV shows including Star Trek & Gomer Pyle & The Andy Griffeth show ! Cancer seems to be accountable for a lot of deaths of Movie and TV stars ! Wonder what they are coming in contact with to cause cancer ? Maybe we ought to investigate Hollywood

Being strong doesn't mean strength, but standing up to your fears and conquering them.
Love the Andy Griffith show and I remember Susan Oliver's appearance well.

She was worthy of a man's respect. She was afraid of flying. To conquer that . She became a pilot. What a woman!
Thanks. I had no idea the green lady in Star Trek was Susan Oliver.
Beautiful woman with a lovely voice.

Nice video Steve, I thought I knew Susan Oliver well but had no idea she never married! She sure packed a lot of living in those 58 years...❤
Thanks for watching Doug, I need all the help I can get.
No husband, and no children. Lesbian, possibly🤔!!?? Along with those feats accomplished, that men, usually did. Makes sense.
I remember her so well. She was very talented and beautiful. I love your channel. ❤

Why would she, have no more money???

Always liked Susan Oliver- talented and a beauty that makes it tough to take your eyes off her. Also a pilot and Director. She left us way too early.

I would have loved to have met her. Smart, strong willed, faced her fear head on. Sadly, she was also a heavy smoker. :😢
Yeah, we had the hots for Susan Oliver.
Yea Buddy!
58 Way to soon for a beauty like her...RIP..
Thank you
Watching a two part episode of the fugitive she was excellent
She was fine… a classic beauty!!
Cameron Diaz has a resemblance to her.
I see that.
3:35. Susan Oliver looks like the Incredible Hulk, female version.
Man I gotta say I thought Marilyn was the prettiest girl ever in Hollywood but susan may have tied her in my eyes.

You're the best.
1960s version of Cameron Diaz
Wonderful actress. This really makes us realize how important it is to get our lives right with Jesus Christ TODAY, not later.
Wasn't she in an episode of Twilight Zone??
It wouldn't surprise me.
Motion picture and television hospital????
Guess I've heard everything now..
Sad
She be 92 if she were still alive.
You left out "The Twilight Zone ".
Swarthmore is just one notch below Ivy League in academic prestige.
sad. I doubt getting regular colonoscopies was a thing back then.
