This is a remastered version by Karim Abd El-Wahab. The original song was composed by Baligh Hamdi, written by Mohammed Hamza, and sung by Abdel Halim Hafez. The song was released in 1973 as a tribute for former Egyptian president Anwar Sadat and his crucial decision of catalysing the October War/Yom-Kippur war. [حرب أكتوبر]

Well when you have only 16% of your population as arabs, statistically speaking you can't really call the whole thing Arab, that would sound like saying that Mexicans are Spanish, or that Brazilians are Portuguese, which is definitely not true... Regardless of all of that however we Egyptians really don't care about that ancestry thing, most of us won't even know about it, we have Armenians, Greeks, Circassians, Turks (4% of the population), kurds, even Mongols!, And of course the Pharaohs ancestry which is the majority (not less than 68%) All speaking the same dialect and share one mutual ultimate goal: to get the f*ck outta here and seek better life 😃😃

The only reason Egypt got Sinai was because Israel gave it to them in exchange for lasting peace in 1978,a peace that stands til today
The Yom Kippur war was a Israeli victory in terms of military losses being far less than the Arabs, territorial gains during the war
Egypt was also the first Arab nation to accept Israel as a legitimate state in 1979
