I really appreciate how Andy takes his time and lays out his case like a good lawyer. Agree or disagree, you have to appreciate his approach. I've believed this about this passage for a while but never heard it presented with so much detail until I heard it from Andy.
He makes it very difficult for anyone to contest his interpretations that for sure! I always wrestled with he strict literal interpretations, especially with Genesis, but the more I study and the older I get the more I agree that literal is the best approach. Dr Woods does a really good job of putting context into the interpretation and I really enjoy that like a nice steak! (Or a nice sautéed portobello for you vegetarians)
There are more well studied preachers on UA-cam wich analysed the rapture perfect....Check out Dr. Gene Kim, Robert Breaker, Dr. Bernett and Amir Tsarfati. God bless....
The "great falling away" in Hebrew also means departure....."rapture" then the man of sin will be revealed......the bride of Christ is not appointed to wrath.......we are going to a wedding while the world is expieriencing the wrath of God.....
Excellent. Yes, precision is needed. Thank you for providing in-depth, concise clarification. Praying others, especially leaders, will grasp this truth & employ. May God bless.
I am so glad I found you Dr Woods. I absolutely LOVE your teaching and I hope everyone sends you their own thank you's so you can KNOW how much your teaching has impacted so many. God bless us with Pastor Woods ministry. Been watching Amir Tsarfati channel, his doctrines was all over the place & mixing scriptures. Got so confused the more I listen to his unsound doctrines teachings during his middle east updates.. Addition to his military/political updates, he now teaches bible study.. I hope he realize he is not suitable to teach doctrines without a proper education in Theology.. He should just provide his military information relating to end times than teaching bible doctrine studies.. Praise the Lord I found Pastor Woods channel.. verse by verse teaching.. so deep.. so sound..
I agree he is all over the place. Grace alone, but you have to take certain stands or you aren’t saved. The Abrahamic accord is good. But the last seven years are soon. Teaching Matthew 24 is the rapture which isn’t dispensational yet he says he is dispensational, I believe. Very confusing.
I quit listening to Amir when he said that Jesus was the archangel Michael. He later retracted that statement, but I lost confidence in his teachings after that.
Pastor Wood reminds me of a pastor/teacher I remember from a while back. His name was J. Vernon McGee. He is with the Lord now but he so simple taught God's Word in a clear everyday language.
Since I heard this view from Pastor Andy, and looked into the entire passage, I am convinced that apostasy in the 2 Thess 2:3 context, it means a physical departure. I think it’s crystal clear. Thank you Pastor Andy
As always I just dont see our Saviour putting His Bride through 7 years or even 3 and a half years of a beating up first not even one split second of a beating up , our Loving Christ ..He is NOT a Wife beater ! !
Agreed. We have been told we will not be subject to wrath and will be saved from the hour of trials. The Lord's wrath is poured out during the entire tribulation (starting with the seal judgements) ; we will be saved from this, in the place Jesus prepared for us.
The wrath is poured out at the end of tribulation. Its the day of the lord and you can find it toward the end of Revelation. And btw..all of the apostles were tortured in the name of the lord and what about martyrs? You better than any of them?? And we are not the bride.. Israel is the bride. We are God's children.. birthed from Israel. You should study more
Tribulation is the wrath of satan.. the Bible says it. Satan comes down having great wrath. Tribulation is not God's wrath.. the day of the Lord is God's wrath..poured out ar the end of Tribulation on all the wicked. Study, study, study..to show yourself approved

Well I'm totally convinced, my head is about to explode but I followed both lessons with your explanation. I was totally convinced of pre trib departure before and that one stinking verse was a thorn in my flesh that, thank God, has been removed. It just did not fit. Thanks for your work with all the side information too. And thanks for going at a pace I can follow, I admit I had to back it up a few times. Thanks Doc!
Glad to see you back safe and sound! I was not expecting you until next week. Nice surprise! I first listened to your case for this interpretation years ago. I see all your points, but am not dogmatic about it. I am still firmly pre-trib because that is what the Bible teaches!
There is also an example of the physical use of apostasia in the Koine, by Archimedes 'the Sand Reckoner' which establishes that the physical use of the word is within the semantic word range in the koine era
Crystal clear! "Falling away" is the same as "taken out of the way", which is "our gathering together unto Him" (v.1). "that day shall not come, except there come a FALLING AWAY FIRST, and that man of sin be REVEALED" (v.3) "NOW YE KNOW what withholdeth that he might be REVEALED" (v.6) "he who now letteth will let, until he be TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY. And THEN shall that Wicked be REVEALED" (v.7-8)
@David Draper No doubt Satan wants to be worshiped through the man of sin. He will have his time during the Day of Christ. Paul argues that they were not now living in that Day because the "man of sin" was not yet "revealed". In verse 6 he says, "And NOW YE KNOW what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time." What did Paul just tell them that was witholding the man of sin from being revealed? In verse three he said, "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away FIRST, and that man of sin be revealed". Something had to happen FIRST, before the man of sin might be revealed. This is our departure, "our gathering together unto him" (v. 1). The body of Christ shall be "taken out of the way. And THEN shall that Wicked be revealed" (v. 7-8). If you keep it in context you shall not be deceived.
The Olivet discourse is referring to the tribulation. The upper room discourse in John 14 refers to the rapture. Thes 2:3 is speaking of the rapture. Of course the passages are all true, but they aren't all talking about the church being raptured, and certainly not saying the church will have to go through the tribulation.
Here is I think another piece of the puzzle. The "apostasia" is the resurrection. This is clearly stated by Paul in 2 Timothy 2:17,18. Hymenaeus and Philetus were teaching that the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith of some. That is why the Thessalonians were so upset. That they had missed the resurrection and were in the tribulation. Paul then clearly states that the resurrection must happen first, then the antichrist is revealed. So instead of just wondering if it is a physical departure, Paul says they were teaching a physical resurrection had already taken place. Very excellent book on the falling away by Andy Woods. It proves the pre-tribulation rapture and resurrection of the dead. Hymenaeus and Philetus were teaching that the rapture had already occurred and they were already in the tribulation.
I appreciate how thorough you are. It really helps me understand how the pieces fit. The bible has been difficult for me to read for many reasons, and thankful God led me to a great teacher. Also, Would you expand on the Bema seat judgment? How do you know that's what it's called, and the content as well as the timing of it? When I hear you talk about it, I have those questions in my head.
Judgement seat is translated to the Greek word bema, that's why it is called bema seat. In the Bible it's referred to as Judgement seat, where believers must give an account of their lives, and all will still obtain salvation ; but will gain or lose rewards.
Wendyanne Hamilton, you must mean retain salvation not obtain. We have obtained salvation at the moment of our confession of faith in Jesus as our savior.
I appreciate Dr. Woods' responsible exegesis. Rapture is the next event for sure. I would take that from a literary reading of the Revelation alone. Not to mention Paul's description of future resurrection events in 1 Cor 15 which is a resurrection outline of Revelation, and his communication in Thessalonians. This issue is larger than taking a few verses, but requires reliance on the whole counsel of God, as Dr. Woods has identified: the pattern of the Scripture outlines with repetition, e.g., the flood had three--rapture of Enoch by grace, protection of Noah's physical family by obeyed commands, and the judgement of the world by the declaration of God. Daniel we have the prophet who was removed, the three who went through the fire as the Son of Man was with them, and the world who was forced to bow to the God of Israel as a result. Then Jesus 'takes with himself' (G: paralambano) the same Greek verb John uses of the rapture verse in Jn 14 where Jesus "takes us with him where he is in the father's house" and in Matthew Jesus reveals Elijah, the Tishbite (likely gentile) raptured; and Moses (a Hebrew) who had walked with Israel through their wanderings, standing with him on the mount of Transfiguration the fulfillment of this happening as they reappear in Rev 11 both raptured. It is by no coincidence that Revelation follows the pattern of rapturing the Gentile believers, and preserving the physical descendants of Israel through the wrath of God leading into victory over the world: Rev 4 raptures the church spoken to in Ch's 2-3 just before the 144k Israelites are sealed through the earth for their ministry of reconstituting Israel on earth until the return of their King in Rev. 19 who rules as "King of Kings" returning with his previously raptured church.
And why a rapture for the gentile believers? Because we are not building the kingdom on earth. This requires physical land, physical protections from enemies, and physical progeny. It requires a national identity and borders, a high priest and king issuing law, and a legal claim to territories. The church is promised no such physical accouterments as those taken out of "every tribe, tongue, nation and people" (Rev 7:9) who are called to endure social rejection, corporate persecution, and physical death because we are not called to BUILD the kingdom on earth, but to faithfully PROFESS its arrival in the face of the world's hatred for it. Countless teachings out of using analogies and allegory have prompted false teachings which confuse these issues which God wisely separated. The weapons of the church's warfare are explicitly not carnal (2 Cor 10:4) but Gen 22:17 promises the physical defeat of the enemies of Abraham's descendants, cf., Deut 28:7. The physical kingdom on earth belongs to the physical descendants of Abraham; these three peoples are contrasted by God too: those who are the stars of heaven, i.e. raptured believers in heavenly bodies, cf., Gen 15:5; 1 Cor 15:52; Rev 4, and those who are the sand of the seashore, i.e. those who are physically descended from Abraham on the earth building the kingdom, cf., Gen 22:17, Rev 7, which is seen as holding back the sea, i.e., gentiles, cf., Gen 22:17; Prov 8:29; Dan 7; Rev 13 The promises to Abraham are likely where the metaphor of earth and sea as Isreal and the gentiles derived from which is pervasive through the Scripture. This embodies the entire Abrahamic covenant in the plan of God's redemption. Chafer does a great job outlining the differences between the promises of God between the church which Ephesians outlines, and the Israelites which Deuteronomy outlines.
Yes, and the absence of the church from rev 4-21 speaks volumes. If the church is meant to go through any of the tribulation, "church" would have been mentioned.
I agree that the “fallen away” in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is referring to the rapture. However, the context of this verse seems to be talking about the 2nd coming of Christ (V.1) and that THIS event (also described in Mtt 24:31) will not occur till first we are raptured and that the antichrist is revealed.
The thought did occur to me last year that the falling away could be the rapture but I'd never heard it taught before now. I just notice that the KJV has it with the indefinite article though. Just wondering why.
Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." (escape- change your position). From Strong's Greek "646 apostasía (from 868 /aphístēmi, "leave, depart," which is derived from 575 /apó, "away from" and 2476 /histémi, "stand") - properly, departure (implying desertion); apostasy - literally, "a leaving, from a previous standing." So there is a strong similarity in Luke 21: 36 when Jesus confirms there is going to be an escape from "all these things which shall come to pass and 2 Thessalonians 2:3 where there has to be the "apostasia" first, before the day of the Lord.
In Luke, Jesus is speaking of a literal escape to a place of protection on the earth. You can read about in in Revelation 12. Jesus tells us in Revelation 3:10 that those in the Philadelphia church were kept from the hour of testing because they did something specific, they kept the word of Jesus' patience. They weren't going around saying Jesus was going to come back before he said he was going to come back. Jesus tells us that he will come back immediately *after* the tribulation in Matthew 24. He gave us the sun/moon/star signs that line up with the Sixth Seal in Revelation 6:12-17. The Lamb is literally present and men are hiding from him saying that the day of His/God's wrath is come. Jesus tells us the signs of the Sixth Seal (sun/moon/star signs) happen AFTER the tribulation and then we are gathered. Another sign of the Sixth Seal is the *heavens rolling up like as scroll,* the same sign that Job tells us MUST happen before man will rise from the dead (Job 14:12-13). *Man will not rise before the heavens are no more.* This HUGE sign happens when Jesus comes like a thief (2 Peter 3:10-12). *The heavens will disappear with a loud noise...and melt with fervent heat.* Man will not rise before this event AND those who are alive and remain will not precede the dead rising. The dead must rise *first.* Only after the resurrection will those who are alive and remain be caught up/raptured. Even so, come Lord Jesus.

But your examples where that word is used as spiritual departure the actual word aphistemi is in the Text, so, unless I'm missing something here - which I must be - you are not lending credence to the argument that aphistemi can be a physical departure, as that word is not found in the 12 examples where physical departure is being discussed... Wow. I hope I am correct in my understanding of this. I’ve ALWAYS believed in THE pretrib rapture but I have really struggled with this verse… always thinking the apostasia is the falling away from faith… but then it didn’t make sense to me that this was saying that and also that the man of lawlessness has to be revealed. Before the rapture that just does not make sense. Those two things contradict each other not to mention all the other scriptures that clearly speak to pretrib. But if this ”apostasia” is the departure it makes perfect sense. Why is this one thing always so elusive to me? I think that with this I am confused on “the day of the Lord” regarding the rapture and the second coming, those two different events.
The falling away (Grk apostasia) has commonly been transliterated as "the apostasy" (the definite article in the Greek indicates that Paul had already told them about it), and then assumed to apply to the final great religious apostasy at the end of the age. The context, however, as well as the etymology of the word itself, makes this interpretation unlikely. In this precise form it is used nowhere else in the New Testament, so its meaning must be defined by its context here. It is derived from two Greek words, apo (meaning "away" from) and stasis (meaning "standing"). It thus could properly be rendered "standing away" instead of "falling away". In Paul's previous letter, he had made no reference whatever to a coming departure from the faith, but he had discussed at length a coming departure from the earth by all believers, when Christ returns to meet them in the air (1 Thess 4:13-18). Thus, this "standing away" from in context seems to refer to all the raptured believers standing away from the earth, as they stand before their returning Lord when they meet Him in the heavens. Paul here is simply reminding them that the "sudden destruction"that would come upon unbelievers when "the day of the Lord"begins could not happen until the rapture - "the standing away"from the earth before Christ (note Romans 14:10). The entire context before and after, fits this understanding of the text better than the idea of the apostasy from the faith. Over the 1,950 years since Paul wrote these lines, there have been numerous great apostasies from the faith, and none of these introduced the day of the Lord, although persecuted beli8evers in each case might easily have so interpreted them. (quote from Dr Henry Morris KJV Bible study notes for this passage - 2 Thess 2:3)

I love pastors who are equipping the saints with the direct Word of God. But I have offered a number of churches across New Hampshire here as we have moved around due to military and other reasons lessons on the Book of Revelation. Please address this idea prevalent with a number of pastors out there that to be 'relevant' means we need to 'dumb down' Scriptural concepts and teachings 'to their level' meaning, the level of the parishioners who really don't study Scripture on their own. I have addressed this as not a biblical approach, and resisting the Spirit's command to 'move on to maturity/perfection' which Scripture tells us. It seems to me Pastors are much less catering to the needs of their people, than catering their people to their whatever they've grown comfortable teaching. And this always neglects the full counsel of God. Please address this kind of 'dumb down Scripture' movement as some kind of 'being relevant' to people.
So true, 300 yrs after the crucifixion theologian Origin thought up the alagorical interpretation of Holy Scripture. He was denounced as a heretic but his mistake lives on.
*Not much use thinking about the Rapture occurring if you Die today(many will) because Repentance is the only way to live after you Die,(Matt**6:34**) Now is the Rapture ready to take Gods people away from the deception of the World*
Just thinking, if they say it’s a spiritual apostasy, well haven’t we as Christians spiritually departed from this world already, even before physically departing?! We are not of this world & at some point we’ll also not be in this world.
Sound doctrines haven't been taught in mainstream churches for decades, tickling for ears has become the norm. God knew the church, in essence, would become ineffective, no longer making disciples and her need to go home would become apparent.
Hi all My name is Debbie I have never dreamed about any number what so ever except for the 2 times that I had a Rapture dream. And the number that was given was the number 22. But I don't think that the number was for a date, rather that the number is a sort of symbol of something. I have tried looking up the meaning of the number but I get so many different answers that I still can not say for sure what the 22 represents. In the one dream a woman said that I looked 22 weeks pregnant and there was red leaves on the ground so it was fall. The 2nd dream a man asked me for R22 to buy a gift for the bride and I looked and I had the exact amount of R22 in my jewellery box and gave it to him to go and buy a wedding gift for the bride as we were waiting for a wedding to take place. Anyone have any ideas as to what the 22 may symbolize. I live in South Africa.
The belief that true Christians will fall away from the Lord, shows a complete misunderstanding of the scriptures. Phil 1:6 He who has begun a good work. Jude 1:24, keep you from falling. Eph we are his workmanship. Does the clay tell the potter " I'm out of here"? Lastly, just as Jesus told the father I have lost none Jhn 17:12, yes that was concerning the disciples. But it also pertains to TRUE Christians.
It also means rebellion in Greek, which was exactly what the apostle was being accused of in Acts 21:21.. We need to be very careful if we see what we want to or what it really is.
I also just noticed in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 since it says the “dead in Christ” rise first, then there has to be a 2nd resurrection for others, which post-trib amillenialists deny.
The dead non believers will take part in the second resurrection, and will be judged at the White throne judgement; and then will be thrown into the lake of fire.
@@aznation4592 partially right, 1st resurrection is before the Tribulation period, in truth it is the triggering point for it, the second res. you are correct
There is a very good reason that the great majority of Bible translations translate the noun “apostasia” as “the falling away”, “the rebellion”, or “the apostasy”. That is because Greek experts have examined the use of the noun “apostasia” in New Testament times and have found a consistent use of the noun form. When the noun “apostasia” is used in the Septuagint it consistently means rebellion, casting away/discarding, or backsliding. And according to scholar Paul Feinberg , “If one searches for the uses of the noun “apostasy” in the 355 occurrences over the 300-year period between the second century B.C. and the first century A.D., one will not find a single instance where this word refers to a physical departure.” The evidence for the use of “apostasia” in Paul’s time is quite clear. Dr. Woods says we should look at the immediate context in 2 Thessalonians 2 in order to help interpret Paul’s use of “apostasia” but he does a very poor job of analyzing the first three verses of the chapter, and ends up turning Paul’s teaching into nonsense. Dr. Woods rightly states that in verse 1 Paul tells the Thessalonians that he is writing to them about the rapture (“our gathering together to Him”) and the day of the Lord. Paul links the two events together just as he does in 1 Thessalonians 4:13 to 1 Thessalonians 5:11. Then in verse 3 of 2 Thessalonians 2 Paul gives the conditions that must be met before these two events can occur. If Dr. Woods is correct in stating that “apostasia” is the same as the rapture then Paul would be teaching that the rapture and the day of the Lord will not come unless the rapture comes first - which is a nonsensical teaching. Dr. Woods reinterpretation of “apostasia” is just a desperate attempt to avoid Paul’s clear teaching that there are prophetic events that must take place before the rapture can occur.

7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. The retstrainer is called a He, so it can't be the church (who is a bride), therefore, it is referring to the Holy spirit.
@@wendyannehamilton1820 How could the Holy Spirit be taken out of the world? If the remnant are still here preaching, who is in them? It is the Holy Spirit. Again find anywhere in Scripture where the Holy Spirit is called a restrainer? There are places in Scripture where angels restrain things or people or events.
It has to do with "what is restraining" which is the Church. They cannot kill the Church without God's approval, and they know this. Satan knows this specifically.

@@marywarrior47 this is just your OPINION. Once you are born again you cannot become unborn again. If ppl walk away from the faith, they were not "of us" in the first place.
""THE APOSTASY"" IS the final church during the tribulation, as of now "The Apostasy" has not yet come to pass, As soon as the rapture occurs then "The Apostasy" will be what is
“Apostasia” = “rapture”? My Strong’s concordance definition: “defection”, “apostasy”, “revolt”, derived from 575 /apó, "away from" and 2476 /histémi, "stand") - properly, departure (implying desertion); apostasy - literally, "a leaving, from a previous standing." This is also the doctrinal meaning, conveyed within Act 21:21. While most English renderings convert the noun into an infinitive verb, “to forsake/abandon, the meaning is the same: a desertion/forsaking/abandonment… not a “rapture”. Furthermore, Andy’s “rapture” meaning would make 2Th2:1-3a read like ,“Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered upon Him… it will not happen unless the rapture occurs first. Since the context is about our rapture, Andy’s rendering of “apostasia” is as nonsensical as saying, “our rapture won’t occur unless the rapture occurs first”. Andy is a very smart guy with considerable knowledge of the Bible and the Greek language. So, why jeopardize his Bema-seat rewards, trying so hard to support a pretribulation rapture doctrine that is contradicted by ~25 scriptures? Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Holy Scripture clearly asserts that our rapture occurs only after the “Dead in Christ” are first resurrected (1Th 4:15-17). Therefore, our rapture must be preceded by the Resurrection of believers. This resurrection is the “First Resurrection”, which occurs only after the Beast arises, and is given authority to behead those who refuse to worship the Beast or its image (Rev 20:4-5). Moreover, our resurrection occurs at the “Last Trumpet” (1Cor 15:52), thus, logically impossible before the “Seven Trumpets” of the Tribulation period. Furthermore, Jesus promised our resurrection would occur on "The Last Day” (Jn 6:39, 40, 44, 54), thus, logically impossible before "The End of the Days”, when Daniel will be stood in his allotted place (Dan 12:13). With everything that Andy knows about the Bible, he should know better.
@@doncleveland1245 Thanks, Don. You might be right. Also, good advice. I looked it up in the Greek texts, long before I even dared to suggest any association. Same Greek word "σάλπιγξ","salpigx" (trumpet), in 1Th 4:16, 1Cor 15:52, Mt 24:31, and Rev 8:6. What is your authority? Lots of people trusting some persuasive Bible teacher, while remaining Biblically illiterate.

You had the wrong one listed, or actually just left the first words off. Kind of shady, don't you think?

He should just provide his military information relating to end times than teaching bible doctrine studies..

"that day shall not come, except there come a FALLING AWAY FIRST, and that man of sin be REVEALED" (v.3)
"NOW YE KNOW what withholdeth that he might be REVEALED" (v.6)
"he who now letteth will let, until he be TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY.
We are the bride and safe from the antichrist through the Lord's promise to keep us from the wrath, thank you Andy, for your teachings!
as long as we are here we are not in the tribulation....
God bless pastor
Compelling argument, and just one more reason to believe that WE won’t be here to see the Antichrist or God’s wrath.
Halleluyah!!
@Jerry Warrington amen brother.
@Jerry Warrington Matthew is for Israel. The rapture is for the Church. Rightly dividing gets you to heaven fastest! Grace to you.
Tyvm , we all must spread the good news of Jesus Christ of Nazareth
We will return to earth with Jesus at His second coming and will rule with Him during His 1000 year reign on earth (the millennial kingdom)

Awesome video!
From Strong's Greek "646 apostasía (from 868 /aphístēmi, "leave, depart," which is derived from 575 /apó, "away from" and 2476 /histémi, "stand") - properly, departure (implying desertion); apostasy - literally, "a leaving, from a previous standing."
So there is a strong similarity in Luke 21: 36 when Jesus confirms there is going to be an escape from "all these things which shall come to pass and 2 Thessalonians 2:3 where there has to be the "apostasia" first, before the day of the Lord.
Luke 21:36 is not talking of a pre trib rapture

Not unreachable if they know the Lord they will go regardless of their view or even conduct. we will receive new bodies and minds.
@@rightlydividingtheword5430 Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
I think entering in at this first Rapture is not automatic. He comes like a thief to those not looking for him. He will appoint them a place in the tribulation with unbelievers. They have their chance now but are squandering it through pride and believing lies. Many will seek to enter in but will not be able to.

I agree 100%. We certainly are surrounded by them and they are showing themselves.
BINGO 100 % sound teaching beginning to end.
So true, 300 yrs after the crucifixion theologian Origin thought up the alagorical interpretation of Holy Scripture.
He was denounced as a heretic but his mistake lives on.
As it’s commonly understood by contemporary evangelicals, what purpose is served by a “rapture”?
To escape what's going to come Over the world
The main purpose is to turn those who didn't make it to Christ. The Book of Enoch explains it in detail, probably why it was removed from the Bible.
Actually, there are at least 3 raptures, just like Harvests,
Firstfruits, Main Harvest and Gleanings...
@Andy Woods or anyone that knows is the Rapture the same as the 1st Resurrection; or are they different events?
Yes it is the same group( those in Christ) but occur at different times in mans history.
@FaithnCross agreed, also Jesus is the first fruits of the first resurrection the same group as those who are Raptured
Only for 7years (Marriage Supper) then we return to the Earth with Him to reign as joint heirs 1000years, then eternity.
Sound doctrines haven't been taught in mainstream churches for decades, tickling for ears has become the norm.
God knew the church, in essence, would become ineffective, no longer making disciples and her need to go home would become apparent.
Hi all My name is Debbie
I have never dreamed about any number what so ever except for the 2 times that I had a Rapture dream.
If you don't know it wasn't from GOD, He always gives interpretation (understanding) with His dreams and visions.
Great verse proving the word.
🙏
I also just noticed in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 since it says the “dead in Christ” rise first, then there has to be a 2nd resurrection for others, which post-trib amillenialists deny.
The first resurrection is after the tribulation and the second resurrection is for all the wicked after the 1000 years are over.
The dead non believers will take part in the second resurrection, and will be judged at the White throne judgement; and then will be thrown into the lake of fire.
this scripture is describing 2 things that happen at this time, "twinkling of an eye" Rapture of the Church.
@@aznation4592 partially right, 1st resurrection is before the Tribulation period, in truth it is the triggering point for it, the second res. you are correct
RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD the Bible doesn’t say the first resurrection happens before the tribulation
Sorry to hear you are LOOKING for the antichrist. We are only looking for Jesus Christ, our blessed hope. We would not be told to comfort one another with these words IF we had to go thru ANY of the wrath.

Where else in scripture is the Holy Spirit called a or the restrainer?
7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. The retstrainer is called a He, so it can't be the church (who is a bride), therefore, it is referring to the Holy spirit.
@@wendyannehamilton1820 How could the Holy Spirit be taken out of the world? If the remnant are still here preaching, who is in them? It is the Holy Spirit. Again find anywhere in Scripture where the Holy Spirit is called a restrainer? There are places in Scripture where angels restrain things or people or events.
it is not a Title it is a description of what he does, He is not called the restrainer.
It has to do with "what is restraining" which is the Church. They cannot kill the Church without God's approval, and they know this. Satan knows this specifically.
In the parable of the laborers in the vineyard (Matthew 20: 1~16), the workers who showed up at the last second and barely started sweating before the shift was up still got paid like those who were working from sunup. *We are* those last-second laborers; we know that the proverbial dinner bell is about to ring. A lot of reputable translations translate it as “falling away” or “apostasy” or “rebellion” by experts in bible interpretation... so for now I will go with that. I am not convinced that the context says departure.

Apostasy in Christianity is the rejection of Christianity by someone who formerly was a Christian. The term apostasy comes from the Greek word apostasia ("ἀποστασία") meaning "defection", "departure", "revolt" or "rebellion". It has been described as "a willful falling away from, or rebellion against, Christianity. Apostasy is the rejection of Christ by one who has been a Christian...."[2] "Apostasy is a theological category describing those who have voluntarily and consciously abandoned their faith in the God of the covenant, who manifests himself most completely in Jesus Christ. ""THE APOSTASY"" IS the final church during the tribulation, as of now "The Apostasy" has not yet come to pass, As soon as the rapture occurs then "The Apostasy" will be what is
“Apostasia” = “rapture”?
My Strong’s concordance definition: “defection”, “apostasy”, “revolt”, derived from 575 /apó, "away from" and 2476 /histémi, "stand") - properly, departure (implying desertion); apostasy - literally, "a leaving, from a previous standing."
This is also the doctrinal meaning, conveyed within Act 21:21.
The Last Trump has nothing to do with Trumpets in Revelation. Look it up and get back to that drawing board!
@@doncleveland1245 Thanks, Don. You might be right. Also, good advice. I looked it up in the Greek texts, long before I even dared to suggest any association.
