Every time i hear this song i picture a very specific music video. It starts the same way. Adam partying and general rock star shenanigans, (the group toasting, trashing the room, etc) then at the bridge(2:53), when it slows, we see Adam walking into a house, all of the lights are off. He walks down the hall, and sees his spouse (and child, possibly) and smiles. We then rewind to the beginning and see everything from a new perspective. Adam was drinking soda while everyone else has alcohol. Adam went to a different room to tell the people we see asleep good night while the group trashes their room. The last chorus showing him and his family dancing in the living room, maybe Adam singing the song with his child in the echo. It would REALLY sell the message of the lifestyle is nothing compared to the love you can have.

Every time i hear this song i picture a very specific music video.
It starts the same way. Adam partying and general rock star shenanigans, (the group toasting, trashing the room, etc)
then at the bridge(2:53), when it slows, we see Adam walking into a house, all of the lights are off. He walks down the hall, and sees his spouse (and child, possibly) and smiles.
We then rewind to the beginning and see everything from a new perspective.
Adam was drinking soda while everyone else has alcohol.
Adam went to a different room to tell the people we see asleep good night while the group trashes their room.
The last chorus showing him and his family dancing in the living room, maybe Adam singing the song with his child in the echo.
It would REALLY sell the message of the lifestyle is nothing compared to the love you can have.
Heard this song as a kid and it impacted my life so much that even here, 10 years later the music video is still engrained in my head while so much else was forgotten with time.
