24:31 There's no equivalent in the persona series because characters stay dead on the field when they're KO'ed unlike in SMT where they are sent back to the stock/bench.
It's equivalent is the move Invitation or the item Summon stone from SMT 4/A Which summons a KO'ed Demon straight from stock and revives them.
Futaba's Confidant skill, Emergency Shift is the closest equivalent in Persona 5 Royal which swaps out Fainted party members and revives them on the bench, which is the opposite effect.

3:00 They did not change the color of the water specifically. It is just PBR...

19:03 Moonlight Frost isnt technically new considering og route
Its just that you use it thats new considering circumstances that happened in the vengeance route
21:22 also Thalassic Calamity is that move thats only used in one specific fight and never again which is weird to say but it happens
24:20 Usually yes, SMT and Persona does share the same terminology in skill names most of the time but Wind/Force, iirc Persona uses Garu name, whilst SMT uses Zan name
And while Persona specified the light and dark (Hama and Mudo) instakill to the damaging ones (Kouha and Eiha), SMT starting with 4 apocalypse onwards, Hama and Mudo are both damaging and has a chance to insta-kill depending on circumstances(during smirk(4 apocalypse's case) and when its hitting a weakness on smt 5/5V case) There are also some demons' uniques that just can proc the instakill as long as you hit in the latter case of 5V, doesn't matter if its neutral or resist, as long as the hit connects
The revival chant spell is a reference to the summon stone item seen in past SMT titles where its kinda like a samarecarm(I do not remember if its just a regular revive or a full hp revive, been a long time since I have played those) + a summon at the same time

The animation for Profaned Land is more like Nahobino Drawing upon darkness and then spreading its corrupting force onto the enemy.

You can make the animations faster in the game settings

I didn't know that honestly, no idea how much it would've effected the scoring but I'm kind of glad I didn't adjust the speed

More than likely negatively because of desynced audio and visuals.

I think not playing the game is doing you a disservice, and you miss so many small details and considerations an actual player will have. To give just one example, 4 small hits instead of 1 big one changes the crit chance and miss chance by A LOT, or that longer animations will make you skip the skill animation more often, which defeats the purpose.

If you haven't played Vengeance, I'd definitely recommend doing so. The new story is very interesting, as is the "new girl" who the story revolves around and how her presence changes the way that the story plays out, and there's a bunch of new demons as well as multiple superbosses to fight (it's no longer a case of the Demi-Fiend being the only superboss, there's several others). The game also has two new DLC demons, one of which is actually the Persona of a P4 party member (and with the Japanese voices, that demon is actually voiced by that P4 character's VA).
Also, Murakumo being turned into a "piercing" attack wouldn't really make sense, IMO, considering the fact that the skill itself is named after a legendary sword from Japanese folklore and myth, and katanas were primarily meant for slashing strikes rather than piercing thrusts.
Also, Luminescent Mirage & Paraselene Blur are a pair of "combo" skills. Luminescent Mirage _guarantees_ that the Nahobino will dodge the next attack aimed at them (it doesn't just raise evasion, it guarantees that the next attack targeting the Nahobino _will_ miss), and Paraselene Blur can only be used if the Nahobino evaded an enemy's attack the previous turn. That's why Luminescent Mirage by itself didn't seem to do much (it's pretty much intended to set you up to use Paraselene Blur on your next turn), and why Luminescent Mirage & Paraselene Blur were shown consecutively rather than separately.

I beat Vengeance actually, it was a much better title than Vanilla though I do think during the end it suffered from just "throwing plot things" at you with no context. There's a thing that happens that is better handled in vanilla than in Vengeance but overall, Vengeance is the better title for sure.
Your Murakumo statement makes sense, I'm just talking about things that would've looked cool and when I see giant drill looking attack, pierce would be cooler than slash in my opinion.
I didn't think of those skills as combo skills but I still view them as the "cinematic" supers they were being shown to me as, but knowing why they were shown in the order they were shown helps. Thanks
