Kylie was disco era. Dua Lipa can do a great attempt from what she’s heard as a kid, but kylie LIVED it, and yes, there is something missing from this generation who is trying to go back and recreate that disco genre, not sure exactly what it is.. and not saying they don’t do it well, but there’s something about this Kylie album that really just takes you back in time and sounds that authentic ‘disco’, back in the day that people knew. @@rianakanthi6752 Grammy depends on where Kylie's Music stands and measures up against all the Great Artists now and in the past. You see Kylie is not doing anything original. Her Music style has already been covered in the 70s where it all started by Donna Summer. And the USA have already got Artists who have better music with House and Disco origins. They also have Donna Summer's music which is still the Best in the 'DISCO' Era (She's The Queen of DISCO)

But to my ears musically (chords tune etc) Kylie and maybe Rina Sawayama should be nominated(her music recycles old vibes too).. most of ‘new’ music now emphasize aesthetic and production but lack honesty, musicality and soul. BEST SONG ON DISCO BY FAR. The fact that of all the non-singles' audio tracks this has the most views (including Real Groove which is now a single) already means THIS SHOULD BE A SINGLE. Most sophisticated melody, and the only one that differs from the pack by effectively conveying a sense of uncertainty and desperation rather than just straight up partying.
It's the classiest and sexiest track on the album. Best structure melodically - lovely descending notes on the verses, a subtler chorus that doesn't announce itself as much as the others, perfectly breathy cooing all throughout, and it has the retro-smooth feel of classic 70's disco as opposed to the more jagged and bombastic nu-disco production of everything else on the album. If there's one song here that would age the best, it's this simply because of its timelessness.
It sounds expensive and the singing is reminiscent of the Body Language era while the production is slick enough to make it fit within Fever.

The only good thing in this year is this album. Kylie, thank you for the optimism. Love you forever.

This is the most beautiful song I've heard! I'm in tears! Thank you, Kylie, for you making music that feeds my soul.
Fredy McGee Hello! Hope your Christmas was good despite World events at the moment.
Please take A Look At Donna Summer's Body of Work from the 70s and early 80s and you'll understand where 'BitterSweet Anthems' that touches and feeds the Soul came from and what Kylie is trying to do. As indeed Donna Summer is her idol and she pays tribute to her all the time. For instance when the Donna Summer "BAD GIRLS" Album was released in 1979, Kylie was only 11 and she said in an interview in London recently that she listened (at the tender age) to the 'Bad Girls' Album to death.
phjb15, please listen to the following below by Donna Summer and you'll be blown away (Just a few of her Albums/CDs): -
1. Love To Love You Baby (1975)
2. A Love Trilogy (1976)
3. Four Seasons Of Love (1976)
4. I Remember Yesterday (1977)
5. Once Upon A Time (1977)
6. Live and More (1978)
7. With Your Love (1978)
8. Never Lose Your Sense of Humour (1978)
9. Bad Girls (1979)
10. No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) (1979). Have a peaceful Festive Season and a better 2021
This song has to be single, please, Kylie. 🙏 🎶🕺🎶
This song is so refined, gracious, beautiful, and just absolutely perfect
I can't stop listening to this song!!! The whole album is a masterpiece
HelloDear Angelo Figuera! Hope your Christmas was good despite World events at the moment.
Please take A Look At Donna Summer's Body of Work from the 70s and early 80s and you'll understand where 'Masterpieces' that touches and feeds the Soul came from and also what Kylie is trying to do. You have missed out on the 70s where this type of music came from....and they were the originals and were Engineered even better. deserves grammy
@@kojoharrison630 hello😊hmm how about 2021 Grammy? wdyt? we no longer truly made any new music I guess since 2010.. just recycle and add electronic touch.. so we need to check again Grammy standard for pop atleast 5 years back. But to my ears musically (chords tune etc) Kylie and maybe Rina Sawayama should be nominated(her music recycles old vibes too).. most of ‘new’ music now emphasize aesthetic and production but lack honesty, musicality and soul. Me personally likes to listen to rich but easy digested music😁
DEFINITELY
Spectacular! Nobody does bittersweet anthems quite like Kylie.
This track is absolutely enthralling! The type of melancholic euphoria that transports you out of this world.
you nailed it. Melancholic euphoria might be the most complete feeling one can have! and it really brings you somewhere else!

She is like a phoenix. IM SO IN LOVE
A complete masterpiece, this is the sample that "Disco" will be a reference for the new generations and trends of pop music in this new decade, incredible song. 💖 It deserves to be single!
masterpiece omg
Her best from DISCO.
Ppppppp
Yes ❤️
My favorite is Last Chance. But I love this one too ❤️
Best album of the year! Period!
I feel so happy and sad and the same time... love you kylie..
that's really the magic of the song. the high class elegance, sophisticated sadness mixed with the desire to dance and celebrate an euphoric night.
It's the best song on DISCO!
Best song on the album
Please! It has to be a SINGLE!!! Love this song and your voice is ANGELICAL 😍😘
MISS A THING est de loin le meilleur titre de ce nouvel album et le meilleur morceau de KYLIE depuis longtemps. Bravo ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This must be the next official single! It’s so catchy and it fits perfectly this 70’s-80’s trend.
DM me in IG, adonis.yanulis
People always put the 70s and 80s together… The 70s were awesome… The 80s was nothing but a 70s hangover
To put it correctly the Disco era was between the late 70s to early 80s. Roughly 1977 to 1982.
@@victoriassme ... i’m sorry, but no. The disco era began clearly in 1972. Those Philadelphia danceable soul records are all Disco.
Harold Melvin, The Love I Lost, 1973...Win, Place or Show, The Intruders 1972, Love Train, The O’Jays, 1972, Loves Theme, Barry White, 1973...
KC and the Sunshine band, Bee Gees, The First Choice, MFSB, Salsoul...all disco 1972-1976. After Saturday night fever it peaked
(in a much cheesier version) and crashed in pop culture in late 79... yes, disco existed afterwards as”Post Disco”... then house, etc..... sorry, but I am a disco connoisseur…lol 😀
Totally!
Kylie... You better release the music video for this song. THE BEST song on DISCO!!!
we've to make this song #1
That double clap is EVERYTHING! 👏🏻👏🏻

Es que está canción te hace llorar, pero al mismo tiempo te hace grande ante la diversidad, te hace caminar queriendo que te vean triunfar como lo ha hecho Kylie. Nos haces especiales Kylie, en nombre de todos GRACIAS ❤️

KYLIE, pleaseee let this be your next single after real groove! MISS A THING REALLY IS A BOP!!!!
Indeed! we've to make this song #1
kylie minogue is the best
Why is this song so underrated? This is DOPE!
Underrated?
Fans love this song, I don't think it's underrated
the best song on this album - I can listen to this the whole day - just this one song
Best song on the album. Absolute classic of a disco song. You can't help but dance to this.
I love the way Kylie is singing this song. It's so purely amazing.
She's trying to Follow Donna Summer's (The Disco Queen) footsteps.....; she always pays Tribute to Donna Summer (The Original Disco Queen) But please look at Donna Summer's Albums/Tracks like 'Take Me', 'I Feel Love', 'Queen For A Day', 'Now I Need You', 'Midnight Shift', 'Try Me I Know We Can Make It', 'One Of A Kind'. I promise you if you explore Donna Summer's work, you will never listen to anything else because thats where this whole Classic Disco 'Thing' started from
THIS. SONG. HAS. TO. BE. THE. NEXT. SINGLE. PERIOD. ♥
this song needs to be a single
Masterpiece!!!😍😵😍😱😭
