Meen in Tulu means Fish and Gassi is curry, hence it’s called as Meen Gassi in local language . Mangalorean Fish curry is quite popular across the globe .

Hi Vinu I made this bangude gassi just the way you have made and it was very delicious. I too make bangude gassi but your tip of adding chopped garlic before adding the gravy makes a lot of difference. (I used to add only chopped onion, chopped green chillies and chopped ginger).
