Hello, I love this music. I had a copy of this on a cassette, years ago. Around the early 80's roughly. I loved it then. So much has happened - career, loves, losses, joys and sorrows, relocating. A beloved 19 year old son in college in Chicago. Yet after hearing this music again at this moment, after so many years of not listening to it, I am hearing and feeling it again, for the first time. Thank you for sharing this. So very much appreciated. Of course I gave you a thumbs up/like. ~ David
Thank you Bella. All of Golden Gate park is beautiful, but three of the nicest places, the tea garden, the arboretum, and Stow Lake are all within a minute's walk of each other. It's a really wonderful area.
Thank you so much for posting, thoroughly enjoyed your wonderful presentation... absolutely stunning! Reminds me of the very 'special' day I spent at the park... the music is beautiful also.
Thank you so much for your comment, David. The album is over thirty years old and was one of the first New Age cassettes I ever bought. But it never gets old, no matter how much you listen to it. It really is a deeply touching sound. I like to upload early New Age music which is now often forgotten or unknown. Unfortunately much was never made digital and I cannot upload that.
Thanks. I took most of these photos, mainly in two different photo shoots, one in summer and and one in winter. They are all from Strybing Arboretum Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park, SF.
Riley Lee : shakuhachi / Satsuki Odamura : koto / Helen Castello :koto / Tony Lewis : koto album '' Oriental Sunrise '' 3rd track . Original released in '82.
Sort of our lives develop huh ?;>) Takes a moment to catch our first breath at the light of dawn coming from a dark womb. As we focus closer we begin to harmonize within . The we learn to dance ..and begin all over again by the end ;>)
Listening to this wonderful music from local Japan. Thanks for posting.

The "All" is nothing more. Nothing less . Only the measure of what is defined within .

The music on this video starts rather slowly. It takes nearly a minute until you can really hear it. That's just the way the song was recorded.
