Ulta and a lot of high end makeup stores throw a lot of makeup out. So some people dumpster dive to find free stuff. Tbh I'd do it, makeup be expensive
I actually did know a family that would dumpster dive behind ulta. But by the time I started working there they had changed their procedure and started destroying the makeup before throwing it away to discourage this.
