I went on the fantasy in 2013 when it was sort of new. Amazing experience.

Disney Cruise also had the first and only musical horn array which makes each ship impressive even if a huge ship is next to them.
We just finished a cruise on the Disney Dream. It was an incredible experience and the video captures the ship quite well. Thanks to the CMs that work on the ship, we have decided to place a down payment on a place holder for another cruise. The ship was very clean with crew members constantly cleaning passenger areas and taking care of us at all hours. A lot of fun.

why am i watching this ive been on 16 disney cruises but i just can't get enough magic
in my opinion, Disney is the best cruise you can go on. I've been on the Wonder and the Dream. both are family friendly with so much stuff to do.

As a 18 year old who went here at the age 15 I still would enjoy going back....
Big reason is the food....oh god...if you go....try everything.

There is a lot to do for all ages. Especially if you want to meet the characters then you should go. And yes at 15 I still had a lot of fun. I didn't even go with friends but I made a lot of friends due to all the activities and stuff they had. Im not sure if they still due it but they had a firework show when I went. I giant flat screen in front of the pool as well and its open as late as you want and plays only Disney movies but they are still good.
***** The cruise is fun for all ages I am 14 and I had a lot of fun also as it said in the video if you watched there is things for all ages to do but I would say you should go I think you would have a lot of fun.
***** I am 16 and always end up leaving with SO many new friends. We all exchange phone numbers and follow each other on instagram/ twitter. It's sooo fun, you just have to be social and talk to people. I still talk to people I met on cruises 3 years ago.

I will be going on another cruise in less than a year cant wait going to be so much fun and KittyCat lover if you have nit made up your mind yet look at all these comments only bad thing I can think of about the cruise is when I went on a Halloween one there was no Halloween decorations and there was only a dress up party was expecting more but still 10 out of 10.

This is all well and good but I can't help thinking about children, and babies in some parts of this troubled world that are grateful just to see another day of life.

I've been on the Disney Magic for seven days in 2011 and I hade a great time!
We went on the disney fantasy a few weeks ago. It wasn't all it's said to be. Not enough pools and they were all crowded full. But service was amazing and the food was great.
Because it's a ship not an island they have limited space ur lucky they even have a pool
Kyle Faherty you'd be wrong. My family does cruises as least once a year. So far royal Caribbean is best. All cruise ships I've been on have had massive polls at least 10x the size of the pools on the fantasy. The pool was about half the size of our stateroom which was also disappointing. The ship had enough staterooms to hold the 4,000+ people but the top decks do not have enough room. I understand it's a young family ship but they still say it's great for every family. This wasn't a vacation to remember.
The choise to have limited pools was a design compromise. It left room for other things.
When I went it took half an hour to get from one end to the other!I will also never forget it!
I love the Disney cruise they are just so hard working and I had a better time there than Disney world!!

10 out of 10 when I went on the cruise. Only thing I did not like about my second cruise is we went on Halloween and there was no decorations me and my family will be going on another cruise in less than a year and I cant wait!!!
I worked for DCL approx 10 years ago on the Magic--the Captain John/Hans days. I love the fact that what you don,t see on this is the way that DCL treat their crew members. If for some reason you break the absurd rules on DCL you are incarcerated in your crew room with minimal peals and drinks. You are not permitted to defend yourself until you are paraded in front of the staff captain on the embarkation day. What you don,t know is that there is already security waiting to escort you off the ship and take you to Orlando Airport where they have already booked your ticket home before you have any chance to defend yourself. My crime--sitting on a piano stool for a photograph with guests!!!
Its amazing the lengths that DCL will go to , too protect their "lovely" image. During my time there was major alcohol, drug problems amongst the crew. I remember some choice pics going around showing the cast members in "uncompromising" positions. Yes Mickey, Minnie, Donald etv having "fun".

Hi, i am thinking about taking a cruise on the dream or fantasy, if anyone has been on a disney cruise and has answers to these questions, please comment. First, Does the ship pull up to the island on all the stops, like are we going to have to be in a boat to get from the ship to any of the ports? Also, I have two kids and am wondering if there would be enough for them to do, if they did not participate in the kids clubs. Lastly, does anyone know if the pools are less crowded overall on the dream vs. the fantasy.{ we would be going next summer} Thanks!

Yes, but very expensive. Very few people use it so people actually look at each other, not down at their smart phones. Wow, very creepy - people talking to each other.
concierge gets free wifi, everyone else can choose a wifi package depending on how much the need it

I went on the Disney magic (when that was the only one) when I was like 5 years old and it is, even now, a vacation that will always stay in my heart. One of my fondest memories, is that my whole family came and everyone had a blast,even my grandma! and I don't remember, but my parents say that the good was the best out of all the cruises I've been on!
A huge bummer though is that we were never able to visit castaway cay because the waves were to rough to dock it. Everyone was really disappointed but it was an awesome trip that I would relive nonetheless.

There are some adult only areas on the ship so tell her if she wants some adult leisure time find one of those spots no kids allowed. Hope I helped.
If she is truly worried about small children bothering her, there are several adult only areas on board, such as the chill spa and the cove cafe and pool
