Great video. It is worth mentioning that before we start improving Epics, we should keep as many copies as we need. I have 2 copies of Uugo and I'm waiting for the 3rd for my 3rd Hydra Team. Only then will I start thinking about improving it
You are a legend for sintranos coverage section of the spreadsheet , having a section for epics that have the most general cursed city coverage would be cool.
sintranos: I would add zargala (s8), luria (& delver) (s6 in some previous rotations), Rian the Conjurer (for that stupid sand devil blocking stage), miscreated monster they all might not appear in the Most nr of stages, but they all appear in stages that are super limited and just aweful to beat.. you mention daithi many times, so you should add seer to dt waves, who is basicly mvp there and for dt waves she absolutely does benefit from +ing her up
I love your analytical content! Although Vrask is in just 8 of the Sintranos stages (to Vogoth's 9), he should have an honorable mention, since he can be instrumental in a some content, such as Iragoth for the healing (10% of THIS champ's HP) he provides for all party members (if he crits). His passive healing is different than Vogoth's, but can definitely increase his utility from empowerment in many areas of the game.
whisper and oboro are the two im looking to empower the most. oboro is especially nice since she benefits from all the empowerment stats as a squishy damage dealer who places a debuff and mischief tanks
Amazing list! What I'm interested in is which of the Sintranos stages would benefit (more) from having an epic dupe. I've seen a few where two Morags have been almost necessary IIRC. This list will be very helpful going forward.
One more for Hydra is Skeraumis for me. I use him as Provoke+Mischief+AttDown champion. Needing both ACC and RES (and SPD to cycle it) means he benefits a lot from extra stats
I will also consider empowering the HP champs for sintranos. Those stage I find difficult, because of the limited options and as a result very few good ones. Empowering might make them more viable
Weird i remembered when Gwynith and liburga and generally all doom tower heroes after dark Kael/Urost was considered trash. Good to see there was a value keeping them (i just kept them as you couldn't get them other way. Ohh and if she waz not on the list: Zargalla, even just because she is so cute in the Raid adds.

Im not necessarily excited about it, but i do want to try an Empowered Wuji in Normal or Hard Hydra. I also think Ursala (universal/DT), Warcaster for early game players struggling to find a Demytha or Maneater, Skeuramis for hydra, Shamael getting that extra HP/ATK/DEF plus the Crit Dmg for anywhere, and Kytis for wave clears would be my top 5 suggested additions.
For the doom tower, I think you absolutely need to have the big 3 for epics for bosses: Jareg, Vrask, and Vogoth (who you did have). Basically all of those Soda Dragon teams which only require the passives from champs so it can work on multiple bosses. Aox and Doompriest would be honorable mentions as epic doom tower boss champs with Aox being the only one who actually needs to use abilities.
This advice seems a bit uncharacteristic of you. You know as well as I do (4.5 years RAID now) that they buff / add content / change things, where some zero turns hero. I will not be using dupe epics as food again unless I've +4 empowered them. 4 star food isn't that big a deal. I've fed DOZENS of meta epics (Ugo, whisper, geo, RG, Husk, Drath, Seeker, Seer... many many copies of each) and I wish I'd have kept 4 extras. But plarum said specifically that they would NOT bring epic empowerment. Tiny tiny bit of salt, but glad they are here now. Solid video, brother. Love your work, just a small difference of opinion on this.

I use geo for phantom shogun 25. Extra accuracy with empowerments is good. Also Dark Kael is viable as well, he places poison and will need high accuracy just as much as geo. Reaching 525 accuracy with empowerments makes it easier to gear for that breakpoint.
Most of my best Epics I only have one of. Been playing over 2 years, Ursala was my first good reviver...still only have one of her. I only just recently got my first Geomancer and Godseeker, I don't even have Genbo... I do have like 6 Madame Serris.
Rock Breaker appears quite a bit. MOre stats useful for provoke same for Skeuramis, Dhukk, and Seneschal Dmg wise Oathbound appears in those Taras stages
Do NOT empower until you are 100% sure you don't need multiple copies of the champ. Also, make sure your faction guardians is full first. Saph should have stressed this more clearly! Also, Genbo is super Meta in Niche applications. He is a perfect counter for Leo/Skullcrown, so a plus 4 is a must.
so for those running something like his seer team and you want her dead, if you have an hp chest piece or rings or anything like that, swap them to attack% or atk and just push her dps even higher, i know a lot of people are f2p so empowering for most people will be way more beneficial due to the lower quality of gear compared to a whale, kraken or 5 year player
Even that for my seer is not enough! For mid to early late and some mid late is fine. Moment you get her to 6 star awakened is really hard due to the way the passive reduces incoming damage flat!
Seeker is a weird call out TBH, the only stats he really needs are ATK % and crit DMG. He's in an unkillable comp likely so no survivability needed past first couple turns (easy) and his speed requirements are already so low you don't even need speed on boots or banner
Great vid and nice breakdown. And while we can not enlist all, I'd say Basher could've been listed for Arena, too. Additional Speed+ACC is really good for his role and he's squishy as hell, so will benefit from all other stat boosts as well. And we don't need a 2nd copy of him. Ofc no champ for LA, but I still can see him doing things in TTA in Gold II or below
I have been thinking of rebuilding my Hoskarul in a high resist build with ACC & Speed and any damage I can put into him. I think he would be a great counter to Armanz. Put him with Mitharala, Tormin and any relevant force affinity champ and I think you got something. Am I crazy?
Man, i need to farm more gear. Only for the reason i can gear out more people at one time in atleast ok stats so i can use them if i want to. Like Psylar as you said. Still a great champion but i dont have enough gear lying around to put it on her.
So the Epic I am trying to build up now is Ruella. I have her at 6 *, just leveling her up and Minotaur for Masteries to use in Fire Knight hard. I am wondering if you think she makes the final cut in teams with Epic freeze champions like Neldor, Criodan and Gory. Of those last 3, if I use only 2 of them (or less), which? I have a 2* blessing on both Neldor and Criodan, but a 6* on Gory.
Epics have lower base stats so even with a 40% increase its inherently much lower than the stats gained by a legendary. I don't really think there was anything generous about the stats given by plarium.
you are absolutly the last person i thought that would not empower whisper. but you can always empower 1 to +4 and use another to die like you need to in that specific place. LOL on the crossbow animations 🤣

I have +4 deacon and 6 star cruel blessings geared with 2 impulse sets, I gotta say he’s a legendary now.
Lady Annabelle should 100% be on the Doom Tower list. She can solo both Bommal and Scarab and I've been using her since she came out on my f2p.

Dark Elhain is listed as Dark Elves faction in some tabs, but she is from the Undead Hordes faction. Great list nonetheless!!
Ppl make sure if you have any epics that are speed tuned for any boss or dungeon that you don't break the speed tune by +4 that epic.
I would also like to recommend klodd the beastfeeder as well as for clan boss

6 ascend +4 relic keeper is running nightmare campaign solo +chicken farm now
I recall a lot of people used Basilisk for a couple of Sand Devil stages in sintranos, but that's the only other epic I can think of for Sand Devil 😅.
haha empowering these void epics going to be hard for f2p/low spend. Id have to get inq sham first before i could empower him!

I would say keep atleast 3 copies of Shamael to build. Having him on each team or as an option for each team is really beneficial.

Empowered Oboro for Sand Devil. She can solo many levels as is but may need empowerment to do max level.
I am surprised tatura never gets mentioned for dealing with head of torment. Hes also a one fo the few good solutions.
I did Sandlash too, but mostly so I could make a +2 :)

Yeah if they are in Universal i didnt include in specific areas.
The best epics to empower are anyone who you are fortunate enough to have 4 of. I wish I could be so selective as to only target a select few.

II'd just mention Basher in Arena, otherwise great list.
Only I think of else is Orn. He is also solo option for dragon and is maybe easier to empower than urogrim

Ash or no ash plarium want to sell more red shards and stones. That is why there is an empowerment system.
