What i like most about ForgaLorga's animations is that each one is always better than the last, especially this one it was good to see the Mane 6 getting together for a picnic just like the old days.
I hope everything works out for you. You have priorities. It makes sense.

btw, apparently the time that passed on the timer since the last "main" episode is the same amount of time it took for the video to come out. so it seems it's running in real time and ForgaLorga is serious about the 2 years (or whatever it was last time we saw the countdown)

Do you remember that Changelings sniff to identify ponies? Not sure if I remember correctly, but if Roseluck was in the Changeling skit HOLY CARP IT'S ALL CONNECTED!
Headcanon Accepted -> That "Rose" was the same changeling from the earlier animations.
It makes sense that "she" was suspicious & agressive at first; since "lone" changelings are probably territorial (once it was clear that it was just THE REAL Twilight in a disguise, she calmed down).

. A cautios changeling would keep themselves shielded from "rumors" & "gossip" unrelated to specifically the ponies they imitate [this may also include "news" about things out of town].
It is much harder to "parse" what a pony knows about certain specific "recent" events that others do not or have different opinions about (that are publicly know by other ponies); compared with just avoiding the subject as much as posible by default [given the complete ignorance the changeling keeps enforcing on themself].
[If they know just a little about something] -> It would be too tempting to make a joke, use sarcarsm or make an statement that would be completely "out of character" (for the pony they are imitating), exposing themselves to closer scrutiny [while avoidance of engagement can always be excused in many different ways]; the same if they knew "too much".

This "Clark Kenting" ability is a parody of what happened in "Spring Breakdown"; since the Pinkie Pie in Ponyville (who may or may not be the one "born in a rock farm", if we believe the Friendship Games´s Blooper reel), said that she could not recognize SciTwi (as a pony), even if she looks just like Princess Twilight back when she was a unicorn.
. The most reasonable explanation is that this Pinkie DID knew exactly who she was (not just because the "context" having Princess Twilight right besides her, but she actually KNOWS SciTwi from before), but porpously affirmed the contrary in order to "Inception" the idea that she has never being in "Pedestria" (so she could not know her), in order to mantain the secrecy of their "switch" [specially given some ~bad choices~ she may have made in the meantime, like forcing her "sister" Maud to stay in Ponyville].
-> In the first Equestria Girls Movie, the human Pinkie Pie described a girl that "lives in the City" identical to (Princess) Twilight with a dog named Spike [she probably just crossed SciTwi on a street while she was taking him out, calling him by his name].

Nice to have you back man! If I may suggest, if you haven't watched already, Frostpony by Yudhaikeledai. Fair warning though, it's a darker and more serious departure from The Ponies happy go lucky shenanigans. But I hope you and the viewers like it.
