Harry I wore these for years. Update looks amazing! Fit beautifully back in the day. Albeit what I do remember was when I changed to some Nikes when Wilson stopped selling them in the UK I noticed how heavy the shoes were comparatively to more modern trainers. Hopefully they’ll supply these in Blightly too! I’m in!

Returning to tennis after 20 years, this 'old school' leather tennis shoe is exactly what I wanted. The modern designs are mostly too narrow and uncomfortable. Well done Wilson, I've ordered a pair.

No mention of the "Indy 500" rubber on the soles that they hyped in their ads. I remember these shoes fondly.

Wilson brought these out briefly already couple of years ago with only the one, original colour choice. The outsole in the first relaunch is different than this second, latest, relaunch.

Yeah it wasnt that long ago that they stopped making them. I bought a pair around 2011in the original color

The shoes are great, but you gotta understand that they have no cushion at all. You gotta slide a good insole, if not your feet will hurt.
This was Pete Sampras' choice until the end of 1996. No question about it being a real tennis shoe, and you can certainly compete in it (just slip in the damn insoles!)

Tennis is the only sport where a shoe trial can consist of two guys standing around barely taking a step. You guys could have been wearing high heels and been fine. Shouldn’t some running, some stopping, change of directions, etc. have taken place?
